Explain how you
have changed
since your first
year at Ryerson.
What is your plan
after graduation?
I started the Graphic Communications
Management program four years ago and
have grown exponentially since then. From
the first year, I had minimal knowledge of the
print industry, management and design. After
completing the GCM program, I have become
more knowledgeable of the print industry
and the importance of not only the printing
processes but topics related to the print
industry such as publishing, client relations
and marketing. Ryerson has taught me hard
skills, leadership skills, as well as helped grow
my confidence and teach me the importance of
teamwork and collaboration.
After graduating from the Graphic
Communications Management program I
plan on gaining more experience in the print
industry. I aim to pursue a career in publishing
and earn more hands-on experience in the
publishing industry. Alongside this, I plan to
gain experience in sales and marketing in the
print industry. I believe that with my knowledge
from GCM and my Marketing Minor. I will be an
asset to any sales or marketing position.
