<strong>Rail</strong> System FLS 25<br />

<strong>The</strong> result of continuous further<br />

development in the field of mechanical<br />

systems for microoptic applications is the<br />

mounted rail system FLS 25. With this<br />

system, linear <strong>and</strong> planar structures can<br />

be realized <strong>and</strong> mounted optics with a<br />

diameter of 16 mm directly taken into a<br />

carrier. <strong>The</strong> compatibility with the <strong>LINOS</strong><br />

Nanobench system enables the application<br />

of a large number of structure<br />

components like mirror <strong>and</strong> prism<br />

adjusters, positioning units <strong>and</strong> fiber<br />

adapters. <strong>The</strong> optical axis of the total<br />

system is 20 mm above the work surface.<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>LINOS</strong> flat rail systems 25 <strong>and</strong><br />

40 are directly compatible to<br />

Nanobench <strong>and</strong> Microbench <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>The</strong> profile with its high degree of<br />

straightness <strong>and</strong> low torsion also has a<br />

high degree of levelness due to the<br />

precise processing of all guide <strong>and</strong><br />

bearing surfaces. <strong>The</strong> black anodized rail<br />

profile has elongated holes so that it can<br />

be attached to work surfaces with metric<br />

or inch st<strong>and</strong>ard threads as well as<br />

independent of the pattern. <strong>The</strong> rail FLS<br />

25 is available in lengths of 50 mm to<br />

500 mm.<br />

Carrier FLR 25<br />

<strong>The</strong> carrier FLR 25 serves for direct<br />

integration of mounted optics with a<br />

diameter of 16 mm. <strong>The</strong> carrier is also<br />

equipped with four borings in a 16 mm<br />

pattern. <strong>The</strong>se serve to hold the rods of<br />

the Nanobench <strong>and</strong> are therefore the<br />

interface to this system. A large number<br />

of different structure components of the<br />

Nanobench system can be mounted on<br />

the rail. A spring-mounted lever fixes the<br />

carrier on the rail. When the knurled<br />

head screw is loosened, the carrier can<br />

be moved easily <strong>and</strong> jerk-free due to the<br />

spring tension. By tightening the knurled<br />

screw, the carrier can be arrested in a<br />

position.
