How does it work?
- 4 -

1) State the word
Read the news, read a book, listen to a teacher or just go with your gut feeling
and add words that matter to you most on each left page of this dictionary.
For each word, describe its meaning and explain why it is important to you.
2) State the action
Now, on each right page, add an action to each word. What do you want to learn about it?
Who can tell you more about it? Who would YOU want to tell more about it?
Where could you go to find more information or add more meaning to the word?
Define who could be an expert on your word. Do a one-minute interview or even define regular time slots
to organize a series of skype calls. Create a podcast or go bigger and create a whole Youtube channel.
You just defined your personal development plan!
3) Activate the word
Now, set your words into motion. Take the actions you just defined in this Uncommon Dictionary.
Are you in a group? Go through each other’s dictionaries and together decide what actions to take first.
Include each other in each of your actions. Learning together is easier and surely more fun!
Document your process and results in text, image and/or video to share them later.

it is time to activate the world! Share your dearest and most urgent words
and their newly found meaning to inspire and activate others.

Post a story on Instagram, an Image on Facebook or an article on LinkedIn.
