Since its beginnings in 1948, <strong>YHI</strong> International Ltd has<br />

successfully diversified its business and carved a niche for<br />

itself in the global industrial power and automotive industry.<br />

Listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange on 3<br />

July 2003, <strong>YHI</strong>’s wide international presence can be seen in<br />

over 100 countries operating through more than 30 entities<br />

located in Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.<br />

The Group is focused on strengthening and widening<br />

its distribution network, sharpening its sales focus and<br />

embarking on its multi-brand, multi-category and multiproduct<br />

(3M) marketing strategy to promote and develop its<br />

portfolio of premium and proprietary brands internationally.<br />

With operations in 16 countries, <strong>YHI</strong> International Ltd<br />

offers a wide range of industrial power products — from<br />

automotive and rechargeable batteries for commercial<br />

and industrial use to solar panels, inverters, EV chargers<br />

and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) — from many<br />

well-known brands. They include Trojan, Trina Solar, Eaton,<br />

Delta, Vision, SolaX and the Group’s own proprietary brand,<br />

<strong>YHI</strong> is also a distributor of the world’s best wheel & tyre<br />

brands including Pirelli, Toyo, Nitto, Nankang, Achilles,<br />

Enkei, Konig, Mamba and proprietary brands, Neuton tyres<br />

and Advanti Racing wheels.<br />

<strong>YHI</strong> International has 3 alloy wheels manufacturing plants<br />

located in China, Taiwan and Malaysia with the capability<br />

of producing 2.6 million alloy wheels per annum. As an<br />

Original Design Manufacturer, it provides integrated services<br />

from the design and development to the manufacturing,<br />

marketing and distribution of alloy wheels.<br />

At <strong>YHI</strong>, our aim is to continuously provide our customers<br />

with quality products and distinctive customer service so<br />

as to build strong customer relationships<br />

ABOUT <strong>YHI</strong> (NEW ZEALAND) LTD<br />

Established in Auckland, New Zealand in 1995, <strong>YHI</strong> (New<br />

Zealand) Ltd is a subsidiary of <strong>YHI</strong> International Ltd and has<br />

both Singaporean and New Zealand ownership.<br />

In 2001, <strong>YHI</strong> added energy products to our range and<br />

such products are now a substantial area of our business.<br />

We offer comprehensive product ranges in solar power,<br />

electric vehicle charging, automotive, marine and motive<br />

power products, as well as offering UPS and power<br />

systems solutions and services.<br />

ABOUT<br />

At first, our product range consisted of only Viper & Enkei<br />

alloy wheels. The famous Advanti Racing brand of alloys<br />

arrived soon after. Nankang tyres were added to the range<br />

in 1997 and our tyre range has been built constantly from<br />

there to include Toyo, Pirelli, Nitto, Nankang, Achilles<br />

Radial, Accelera, Neuton, Longmarch and most recently<br />

Agricultural & Industrial tyre brands CEAT and Barkley.<br />

<strong>YHI</strong> New Zealand has grown to operate from 8 locations<br />

across New Zealand and has over 80 staff. Our distribution<br />

network includes branches in Auckland, Hamilton,<br />

Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin<br />

and Invercargill as well as a third party warehouse in<br />

Palmerston North.<br />

Every part of New Zealand is serviced by a <strong>YHI</strong> account<br />

manager. These specialist staff are available to provide<br />

localised support and training on an ongoing basis. Training<br />

can be based out of any of our branches or if required on<br />

Larger scale training can be arranged for specific products<br />

and where possible includes manufacturer input.<br />

We have our own in-house marketing department to<br />

sheets or brochures - all of which can be customised with<br />

SCHOLARSHIPS<br />

<strong>YHI</strong> New Zealand offer an annual scholarship for a member<br />

of staff to undertake an Outward Bound course at Anakiwa<br />

in the Marlbourough Sounds. The scholarship is open to<br />

team members who have been on staff for more than one<br />

year, who are committed, enthusiastic and will put into<br />

practice back in the <strong>YHI</strong> workplace the values and skills<br />

they learn. By investing in this annual scholarship, we<br />

KAIZEN & 5S<br />

<strong>YHI</strong> as an organisation has strong core values and ethics.<br />

We adopt the practise of ‘Kaizen’ which is a Japanese<br />

business philosophy of continuous improvement of working<br />

practises. In a nutshell, we work to continuously adapt<br />

and improve ourselves and our products, be it through<br />

manufacturing or operational processes. Kaizen and 5S<br />

have been an important practise in our daily operation<br />

since the <strong>YHI</strong> Group first adopted the system in 2011.<br />
