riguardo allo spazio più in generale. Le radiofrequenze<br />
costituiscono quindi un <strong>as</strong>petto della rap-<br />

diversi codici percettivi: visivi, uditivi, spaziali,<br />
interess<strong>and</strong>o sia animali che umani.<br />

dall’alto. E qui vediamo un altro tema che<br />
accompagnava questi lavori, la serie delle Mappe<br />
immaginarie, serie di opere riferite al tema delle<br />
mappe. L’antenna è, quindi, insieme all’animale<br />
(qui l’uccello) quel nesso causale che implica la<br />
possibilità che l’arte consideri la comunicazione,<br />
la biocomunicazione come elemento da introdurre<br />
nelle operazioni estetiche.<br />
Le Mappe immaginarie costituiscono una serie di<br />
opere realizzate con disegni, foto e dipinti, mappe<br />
non realistiche come se la terra fosse vista dal<br />
venti<br />
per distinguerli dalle tradizionali installazioni.<br />
satellite; le sculture sono ispirate alle serre, picco-<br />

protozoi ed organismi marini. Ecco che le mappe,<br />
la percezione, la rappresentazione dello spazio<br />
dall’alto e la comunicazione legano uomo,<br />
animali, territorio (Figura 4).<br />
Aspetto fondamentale è che ciò, inoltre, congiun-<br />
<br />
comportamento in una continuità qui considerata<br />
come informazione. In questa concezione quella<br />
che tradizionalmente era intesa come forma non è<br />
più distinta dalla comunicazione e dal linguaggio 2 .<br />
2. Nel 2001 il progetto era stato esteso all’esterno della biosfera<br />
con il programma che prevedeva la spedizione di un<br />
piccolo satellite per la visualizzazione della terra. Il progetto<br />
che aveva interessato e coinvolto diversi enti e gruppi di<br />
lavoro fu sospeso per la mia posizione di rinuncia riguardo<br />
alla spedizione di un oggetto in orbita geostazionaria.<br />
