Donors make the difference. Our ability to
provide high-quality medical care and services
for the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Basin
is intrinsically tied to the generosity of our
donor community.
This 2007-2008* Annual Report to Donors
celebrates the contributions of our donors,
and the important role you play in supporting
excellence in healthcare for Hawaii.
We are honored to acknowledge your gifts
to Kapi‘olani Health Foundation, Straub
Foundation and Wilcox Health Foundation.
We are honored by your connection to us.
* July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008
You complete the cycle of care.
What makes you proud? Every week, I receive letters from patients whose
health was improved by our medical care, whose lives were touched by
our staff – and they want to acknowledge it by making a donation. That
connection is our highest honor. It confirms we’re on track. And it makes
me proud.
What does non-profit signify? At Hawaii Pacific Health, we re-invest all our
earnings back into our charitable mission: to provide the highest quality
healthcare and services to the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Basin.
We can’t do it without your help. As a non-profit, we rely on philanthropic
support – now, more than ever.
Every dollar you give makes a difference in our ability to make exceptional care
accessible to all who need it. When you give to Kapi‘olani Health Foundation,
Straub Foundation or Wilcox Health Foundation, your gift will reach literally
thousands of people.
What makes the hospitals of Hawaii Pacific Health special? Whether you rely
on the Women’s Center at Pali Momi, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at
Kapi‘olani, the Outpatient Cancer Treatment Center at Straub or the Cardiac
Care Program at Wilcox (to name just a few of our specialty care services), our
healthcare network is woven together seamlessly.
Pooling these resources is our core strength. It allows us to provide an
exceptional quality of care and remain fiscally solid during these precarious
times for healthcare. We can recruit and retain the best doctors, nurses and
staff, and invest in state-of-the-art technologies. Most importantly, through
your help and support, we’ll continue to provide great care to anyone who
needs it, right here at home, for generations to come.
The stories in this 2007-2008 Annual Report to Donors are brief examples
of “donations in action” at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children,
Kapi‘olani Medical Center at Pali Momi, Straub Clinic & Hospital and Wilcox
Health. I’m very pleased to share them with you, our donors, whose generous
contributions have made these connections possible.
Our warmest mahalo for partnering with us to benefit Hawaii’s communities.
Our Mission
The mission of Kapi‘olani Health
Foundation is to improve the health
of Hawaii’s people through funding
of medical care, equipment, health
education and research at Kapi‘olani
Medical Center for Women &
Children and Kapi‘olani Medical
Center at Pali Momi.
As I walk through our hallways, I see our community’s
donations hard at work.
On a recent visit to Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, I saw a
10-year-old girl, recently diagnosed with cancer. She’d lost her hair and was
on an I.V. But there she was in the Play Room, singing her heart out to Rock
Band, the Wii video game. It brought a smile to my face.
I walked by a room in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where a butterfly sign
hung on the door. This signified, in our Butterfly Program, that behind the door
a father and mother were spending their final moments with their dying infant.
It brought tears to my eyes.
At Kapi‘olani Medical Center at Pali Momi, I saw a man who recently had eye
surgery. That day, he looked at his family clearly for the first time in years. It
brought joy to my heart.
As I walk through our hallways, I see something else, just as moving and
heartwarming. I see our community’s donations hard at work.
We are non-profit hospitals. We provide care to all people, regardless of their
ability to pay. Philanthropic support from the community is vital. It enables
us to ensure that everyone who needs care can receive care – exceptional
care. Donors help us bring state-of-the art technologies, available at the finest
medical institutions in the country, home to Hawaii – because our families
deserve them.
Your gifts also allow us to provide special things that aren’t covered by health
insurance, such as Tucker the therapy dog and Wii’s Rock Band at Kapi‘olani,
or flowers at the Women’s Center at Pali Momi. Those intangibles make our
hospitals special.
These are exciting times for everyone involved with the Kapi‘olani Health
Foundation. Next year, Pali Momi will celebrate 20 years of serving the
Leeward community. What began as an effort by Leeward community
members to build a hospital in their own neighborhood is now a nationally
recognized, outstanding acute-care hospital. As the community grows, Pali
Momi plans to grow and continue to provide outstanding service.
In 2009, Kapi‘olani Medical Center will celebrate its centennial of providing
pediatric care in Hawaii. While we honor this incredible 100-year legacy of
care, we’re also busy planning for the next 100 years. We are focused on
becoming a national leader in family-centered pediatric care. To become this
center of excellence, we must expand and renovate our hospital. Our aging
facilities have not kept up with the superb quality of care we provide.
These are ambitious goals for the future. We’re very excited to share more with
you about our plans, the unprecedented capital investment we will soon take
on, and the vital role that philanthropy will play in it.
On behalf of everyone in Hawaii, including my family, who relies on Kapiolani
Medical Center and Pali Momi, I thank you for your continued support.
ConneCting with west oahu
Kapi‘olani Medical Center at Pali Momi continues to meet the healthcare needs of Leeward
residents, by providing quality care and service to our patients and their families.
Pali Momi is recognized nationally as an outstanding acute-care hospital. For the third year
in a row, U.S. News & World Report, in its “America’s Best Hospitals” issue, recognized Pali
Momi for excellence in the treatment of coronary artery disease. It was named in a 2008
national survey (one of only two hospitals in Hawaii) for value and affordability, efficiency and
quality. Although these awards are encouraging, our focus has always been on providing the
best for our patients.
Renovations to expand our Emergency Room (ER) have begun. In response to our growing
reputation for providing quality care over the years, as well as more people living on the
Leeward side, we’ve experienced a dramatic increase in ER visits: 106% since 2000 and
a 12% increase just last year. In order to enhance the overall patient experience in the ER,
physicians and staff recognized that we needed to enlarge the physical space, as well as add
more doctor and nursing coverage to decrease patient wait time.
Leeward residents will benefit from our new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory opening in
December. This advanced facility will be the first interventional program located west of Red
Hill. It will improve the opportunity for patients to receive emergency interventions; not having
to travel to Honolulu will save valuable time and thus, save lives.
Next year, our philanthropy efforts will focus on expanding the Women’s Center. Because we
offer the only comprehensive center in the area, we’ve seen a 70% increase in the number
of procedures done since 2004. We hope to expand the Women’s Center in the near future,
and provide the women of West Oahu with more comfort, while keeping the same signature
service that is Pali Momi. With the generosity of our donors and others in the community, we
can make it happen.

Takako and
Dr. Glenn Kokame
Eyesight is a most precious sense to retain throughout your lifetime. But in Hawaii, where
diabetes occurs at twice the national average, many people develop vision problems,
even blindness.
The Retina Center at Pali Momi is helping people save their eyesight. Takako “Tak” Kokame
was eager to contribute. Her generous gift to the Retina Research Fund, through the Kapi‘olani
Health Foundation, supports continuing education and clinical trials on macular degeneration
and diabetic retinopathy, the most common causes of blindness in Hawaii.
“I hope others will also realize the important research going on at The Retina Center,” Tak says.
“We want to make sure the most recent treatments are brought to Hawaii for people with
retinal problems.”
Tak’s gift also supports her son, Dr. Gregg Kokame, in memory of her late husband, Dr. Glenn
Kokame. “I feel very blessed that Gregg can help the community through his work as the Retina
Center’s medical director, and I’m happy to support it,” she says.
looking ahead…
The sprightly 77-year-old faced an uncertain future. Her vision was going downhill.
Watching the news, she noticed the newscaster’s nose started to appear
by his eye. Things quickly got worse.
“My depth perception was thrown off. I became fearful of going
down an escalator because I couldn’t distinguish where
to step,” says Harriet Weissman. “It was difficult to tell the
difference between red and green on a traffic light. I’d need
to be just three inches away from you to
recognize you.”
Advised to see a specialist, Weissman went to The Retina Center
at Pali Momi. She was diagnosed with macular degeneration,
the leading cause of blindness in Hawaii. “There’s nothing worse
than losing your eyesight,” she says.
Retina specialist Dr. Gregg Kokame told Weissman
she was a candidate for a new drug
treatment. The Retina Center was the
only facility in Hawaii selected to offer
this drug trial. This gave Weissman
access to a new treatment – three
years before it came to market.
Today, Harriet has regained vision
in one eye. She’s reclaimed
her independence, drives
to her weekly Mah Jongg
game, plays without a magnifying
glass, writes her own
checks and reads.
“I’m a miracle on two legs,”
she beams.
Each year, Kapi‘olani Children’s
Miracle Network donors statewide
have supported Kapi‘olani
Medical Center’s programs
and services that are so vital to
Hawaii’s families.
Costco Wholesale employees
and customers donated
$180,000 to purchase an ultrasound
machine for the Fetal
Diagnostic Center. Marriott
Hawaii associates and guests
donated $145,000 to support
pediatric cancer treatment
and research. Clear Channel
Radio donated $281,000 in free
airtime for the KSSK/Kapi‘olani
Radiothon for Kids.
We are grateful for the many
gifts made to Kapi‘olani Children’s
Miracle Network.
Kapi‘olani Medical Center for women & Children
a LegaCy of Caring for women and ChiLdren.
The community recognizes the critical role of Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women
& Children, the only full-service children’s hospital and only high-risk maternity center
in the Pacific Basin.
Our non-profit hospital is nationally recognized for the exceptional level of care it provides,
close to home. Kapi‘olani is building on this legacy to become a national leader in familycentered
pediatric care, right here in Hawaii.
Thanks to your generous support, we’ve been able to provide more life-saving technologies
and special programs. This year, our Women’s Breast Center provided 100% digital mammograms
to more than 17,000 women, and earned Hawaii’s only Breast Center of Excellence
award. Generous donations enhanced our efforts in women’s health, allowing us to purchase
an MRI-guided biopsy device to check for breast cancer quickly, without leaving a scar.
We’re participating in more clinical trials, so Hawaii’s women can benefit from pioneering new
therapies. With state-of-the-art technologies, right at our fingertips, we’re saving more lives.
Donations have helped us make great strides in pediatrics, too, from obtaining
leading-edge technologies to utilizing the most down-to-earth therapies. We obtained a
CVVH Bypass; this state-of-the-art machine saves the fragile kidneys of Hawaii’s sickest
children. The kids also have benefited from donations we received to continue Animal-
Assisted Therapy with our resident therapy dog, Tucker.
In 2009, Kapi‘olani will celebrate its centennial of pediatric care in Hawaii. As we celebrate
the past 100 years, exciting plans for the future are taking shape. The way modern medicine
is delivered today has changed significantly since the hospital was built 30 years ago — this
requires that our aging facility be upgraded and expanded. Our goals for the future will
require the community’s strong support.
helping critically ill babies
and children.
What a difference a tour makes.
Erik and Eileen Ludwick were being shown the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Kapi‘olani
Medical Center for Women & Children when they heard a startling fact: the “Continuous Renal
Replacement Therapy” (CRRT) machine isn’t always available.
The machine, by filtering poisons out of the blood, acts as a temporary substitute for the
kidneys. It’s the only method of renal replacement therapy for babies and children with acute
kidney failure or in septic shock. Yet, if the highly sensitive CRRT machine was down for repair,
or another child was using it, the situation could become serious.
The couple immediately realized the crucial need for a back-up machine. With the help of the
Kapi‘olani Health Foundation, a grant request was submitted, and the Ludwick Family Foundation
promptly fulfilled the grant.
A second CRRT now resides at Kapi‘olani – and it couldn’t have arrived at a better time.
Jaime Harrington, MD
and Ellie Taft, MSN, CPNP
Doctors and other staff have noticed an increased need for
this specialized care. They’re utilizing the devices more often,
but even if two patients need it simultaneously, the staff
aren’t forced to choose which critically ill child may get
the CRRT. Both kids can be treated, thanks to the Ludwick
Family Foundation’s generosity.
“When cancer or a serious infection hurts little babies
and children, and their kidneys are in danger of organ
failure, this wonderful machine is a true life-saver,”
says Eileen. “We’re so glad to support Kapi‘olani and
its mission to treat the sickest of Hawaii’s children.”
extending the
ability to save lives.
Jovani Lopez was looking forward to high school
and becoming a teenager when he was told he
had cancer.
Even worse, his white blood cell count was 25
times the normal level. The toxic poisoning
needed to be dealt with quickly, or his
kidneys might simply shut down. He was
airlifted to Kapi‘olani Medical Center, where
doctors in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
decided that Jovani’s kidneys needed a
rest – immediately.
Thanks to the recent gift from the Ludwick Family Foundation, a CRRT machine
was available to give Jovani the therapy he required, and save his kidneys.
“Having a second CRRT can be life-saving for a child, in case the other machine needs
repair, or it’s being used,” says Dr. Jaime Harrington. “In critical cases like Jovani’s, time
is of the essence; you cannot transport the child to the mainland.”
The CRRT, which can be adjusted for use on babies as small as 2.2 pounds, is helping
to prevent organ failure – and that makes Dr. Harrington proud. “It extends my
ability to save lives,” he says.
Our Mission
The mission of
Straub Foundation is
to improve the health
of Hawaii’s people
by providing support to
Straub Clinic & Hospital.
The effort to broaden our scope, beyond public education
and outreach programs, has been an exciting one.
First, my warmest mahalo for supporting Straub Foundation as we entered
a new era this past year. The effort to broaden our scope, beyond public
education and outreach programs, has been an exciting one. Our expanded
mission now supports all medical specialties and programs at Straub Clinic &
Hospital. This includes Straub’s integrated health and medical services that are
of the highest quality, comprehensive, caring and always improving.
The changes reflect Straub’s increasing role in providing healthcare to the
people of Hawaii as the population of our state continues to expand and
mature. Despite this growing demand, we’re dedicated to maintaining our high
level of service. Our ability to achieve excellence in a broad range of medical
areas is imperative.
Maintaining this excellence can be a challenge, as reimbursements from
Medicaid and health insurers go down, while the costs of providing healthcare
go up. Philanthropy is more and more important to funding healthcare, in
Hawaii and across the nation. Community support is essential to ensure the
very best services for all of our patients.
Your contribution matters. With your help, Straub Foundation is cultivating the
comprehensive, patient-centric healthcare approach that our patients deserve.
Our healthcare system is completely integrated, with a full range of primary-
care physicians and specialists, clinics and the hospital, with core medical
specialties in Cardiology, Bone & Joint and Oncology. Patients appreciate
having multiple specialists, together in one facility.
With your help, we are building a robust foundation that will continue to
support Straub Clinic & Hospital, now and into the future. Our founder, Dr.
George F. Straub, and his colleagues believed the patient always comes first.
This principal is at the heart of our mission. As we continue Dr. Straub’s vision,
we thank you for your support. As we meet the evolving healthcare needs of
Hawaii, we invite you to be part of this great history and exciting future.
ConneCting the doCtors and
patients of straub.
In 2008, Straub Foundation completed its transition from its traditional
research- and education-based focus to raising funds in
support of all programs and medical specialties at Straub Clinic
& Hospital. The refocused Foundation has shifted its commitment
toward key initiatives that will benefit patients and staff.
In 2009, the Outpatient Cancer Treatment Center will be renovated
and expanded to care for the increasing number of cancer patients in
a more comfortable environment.
Also in 2009, construction will begin on a beautiful Healing Garden.
The garden will provide a quiet, restorative oasis for patients and visitors.
Employees have already contributed half of the funds needed, and
friends of Straub continue to make gifts toward this $300,000 project.
The Straub Foundation is developing programs to recognize, honor and inform donors
of developments. The Straight Talk series of intimate gatherings will inform donors of
initiatives and programs at Straub, and give donors an opportunity to discuss their ideas.
The Foundation will continue to raise money to create endowments for programs. These
include the research, education and community outreach programs of Hawaii Pacific Health’s
Conference Services, as well as the clinical research program of its Research Institute.
The Foundation is proud that U.S. News & World Report, in its “America’s Best Hospitals”
issue, recognized Straub Clinic & Hospital with a 2008 Silver Medal, Annual Performance
Award. As a mission-driven, non-profit hospital, Straub will continue to provide high-quality
medical care to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
Dr. Robert and Adelaide Kistner
a habit of giving.
Dr. Robert Kistner has worn many hats during
his 40+ years at Straub Clinic & Hospital, but
his concern was always the same: to help out
wherever it was needed most.
He started the Department of Peripheral
Vascular Surgery. To make research and
education possible, he helped establish the
non-profit Straub Foundation. To give local
students the opportunity to experience
medicine first-hand, he co-founded the
Summer Student Research Program.
Through the decades, the doctor and his wife, Adelaide, also supported Straub with personal
donations. Their most recent gift, a lead gift to renovate Straub’s Outpatient Cancer Treatment
Center and create a Healing Garden, has personal significance for the couple. Both are
cancer survivors.
Adelaide was first diagnosed in 1966, and Dr. Kistner was himself diagnosed three years ago.
During cancer treatments, he envisioned ways to improve the patient’s experience, to reduce
their fears and help them know what to expect. Dr. Kistner felt that a “nurse navigator” could
provide support, coordinate care, be a patient advocate and put them at ease. As Straub designs
the new Outpatient Cancer Treatment Center, Dr. Kistner also wanted to ensure
that patients are more comfortable and have privacy.
With compassion and generosity, Dr. Kistner has turned his personal experience into
a gift of immeasurable value to all cancer patients at Straub.
“To give is a habit that grows,” he says. “And, I’ve found, the rewards are very nice.”
a last wish that will
inspire generations to come.
Carlton Higa had lived with diabetes for 11 years. He suffered multiple complications, and
reached a point where modern medicine and the skilled team at Straub Clinic & Hospital could
do nothing more.
But Carlton had one more wish during his final days in Straub’s Intensive Care Unit: to feel the
warmth of the sun on his face. The palliative care team at Straub found a suitable place, on the
lanai, tucked between the Palma and Milnor buildings. They brought Carlton there and, surrounded
by friends and family, he was able to see the sky, hear the wind, feel the breeze, and
glimpse trees in the park. Then, he peacefully passed away.
Straub staff could not forget the peacefulness they had witnessed. Chaplain Nathan Kohashi
thought, “Why couldn’t we put a garden here? A place for patients, family and staff to experience
nature.” Inspired by Carlton’s final moments, Kohashi spoke with other staff. An idea was
born to create a quiet, restorative oasis for Straub’s ohana – a Healing Garden. Through the
Employee Giving Campaign, staff and friends have contributed more than half the funds, to
date, for this $300,000 project.
Adjacent to the garden, the Outpatient Cancer Treatment Center was in need of renovation and
expansion. Dr. Robert Kistner, a physician and cancer survivor, gave a lead gift toward this $2.2
million project. Both projects will soon become a reality, and will benefit patients and visitors for
generations to come.
Our Mission
The mission of
Wilcox Health Foundation
is to create and sustain
long-term rewarding relationships
that foster excitement, pride
and financial support
for Wilcox Health.
Your donations have helped us make great strides in going high-tech.
To serve our patients well, it is essential that we stay abreast of patients’
needs. That’s why connecting with the Kauai community has always been a
vital part of our mission at Wilcox Health Foundation.
Connecting with patients, families, friends and other constituents helps us
be a responsible steward of charitable gifts and donations. And it helps
our constituents be more involved, as fellow stakeholders, in the health of
Kauai. Together with local trusts and foundations, Kauai businesses and our
hospital auxiliary, you have all shown tremendous support for our healthcare
network. Everyone in the Wilcox ohana is profoundly grateful for your generous
contributions.
One element of the Foundation’s mission is to spend philanthropic dollars
where they’re needed the most. Delivering state-of-the-art medical care
depends, in large part, on having the most up-to-date equipment. Simply
put, our doctors and nurses need the latest technologies to maintain the
exceptional level of care that Kauai residents deserve. Thus, in recent years
especially, purchasing leading-edge medical equipment has been the smartest
investment, particularly for our rural healthcare system.
Your donations have helped us make great strides in going high-tech. The new
Wilcox Surgical Center, the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Special Procedures
Unit, the Wilcox Family Imaging Center, and the newly designed Women’s
Health Center are testament to a new era of healthcare on Kauai.
Our goals for the coming year are equally significant. Philanthropic support will
be critical. With continued generous support from our Kauai community, our
vision will become a reality.
As we continue to provide the Kauai community with the very best in medical
reCent suCCess has garnered kudos.
Wilcox Health continues to enhance patient care with better equipment and innovative
programs, with philanthropic help from the community.
The hospital has installed new digital mammography and bone densitometry units in the
Imaging Center. It has upgraded all endoscopy equipment in the Surgical Center, which has
vastly improved gastroenterology services. It has purchased and put into operation the
high-tech HALO system for the prevention of infant abduction.
The Wilcox Memorial Hospital Auxiliary donated $100,000 in proceeds from the Gift Shop
and Thrift Shop to the Wilcox Health Foundation toward the purchase of medical
equipment. Respiratory Care received a vision ventilatory system, Imaging received a
blanket warmer, and Surgery received a warming cabinet, gastroscope, colonoscope
and smart pump.
Design of the new Women’s Health Center is complete, and will open in 2009. The opening
will enable some additional conveniences: we will move Outpatient Rehabilitation
from Kukui Grove back to the hospital, move Cardiopulmonary Services nearer to the
Women’s Health Center, and move Infusion Services to the lobby entrance to provide
better access to chemotherapy for cancer patients.
Our achievements have not gone unnoticed. U.S. News and World Report, in its
“America’s Best Hospitals” issue, bestowed on Wilcox Memorial Hospital a 2008 Silver
Medal, Annual Performance Award. Statewide health organizations, including HMSA and
the Mountain-Pacific Quality Improvement Organization, have recognized us for
exceptional quality patient care.
G.N. Wilcox
a generous
spirit.
Early detection is key in treating cancer.
One highly effective tool is endoscopy.
This minimally-invasive, diagnostic medical
procedure looks inside the body to assess
the surface of internal organs.
When doctors in the Surgical Center at Wilcox
Memorial Hospital needed new endoscopes,
the Wilcox Foundation turned to the G.N. Wil-
cox Trust for help. Once again, the trust funded
the upgraded flexible endoscopes.
Ever since 1938, when Wilcox Memorial Hospital
was established as a non-profit community
healthcare facility to serve all of Kauai, generous
gifts by the G.N. Wilcox Trust have enabled Wilcox
Health to keep pace with changing standards and
technology, in order to meet the healthcare needs of
Kauai’s people.
G.N. Wilcox, for whom the hospital was named, made many financial contributions
throughout his life. He also established a trust fund, charged to “carry on or assist in any kind of
public, charitable, educational or religious work, and for the aid and advancement of the public
health and morals.”
Wilcox Health, which carries G.N.’s name, is a perpetual testament to his generous
philanthropic spirit.
Bringing the best to Kauai.
Wilcox Health’s new gastroenterologist, Dr. Stephen Keith, could practice anywhere in the world.
He chose the Garden Isle because “I love this island and feel it is a
great place for my family. Wilcox also has the support of Hawaii
Pacific Health and the Kauai community to provide cuttingedge
technology in the new Surgical Center.”
With generous support from the G.N. Wilcox Trust, Dr.
Keith is using upgraded flexible endoscopes to closely
check the interior surfaces of the esophagus, small
intestine, stomach and colon of his patients.
The devices are equipped with an endo-flushing pump
that can operate at the touch of a button – a major
advantage over the old, manual method of flushing with a
syringe. The new endoscopes also have wide-angle imaging
capability. This enables Dr. Keith to thoroughly observe an
organ’s surfaces with clear, high-quality images and a life-like
color rendition on a large display.
“I have been given the best tools to do my work,” he says. “I’m able
to bring the latest in detecting disorders of the colon to Kauai
patients. I want to thank the G.N. Wilcox Trust for its
gift, as well as our private donors. It is your
generosity and commitment to our healthcare
network that allows a specialist
like me to provide Kauai patients with
the newest procedures in treating
illnesses and injuries.”
Between our three foundations, we connect with thousands of people throughout all of our island
communities. This annual report – in honor of our donors to the Kapi‘olani Health Foundation, Straub
Foundation and Wilcox Health Foundation – illustrates the definitive bond between donors and patient
care. We hope you’ve found inspiration in these stories.
Donors describe the act of giving as a profoundly joyful and meaningful experience. We are proud and
honored to be a part of this.
Our mission is to create and develop sustainable philanthropy across the Hawaii Pacific Health system.
Revitalized philanthropy can only happen through engaged community volunteers, and we’ve made great
strides this past fiscal year across the foundations.
Want to learn more? Call us for a personal tour at any of our hospitals. You’ll witness our dedication to
high-quality healthcare for the people of Hawaii. You’ll know that your philanthropic efforts are successful,
productive and rewarding.
