Dear Reader,
I want to thank you for your interest in the persecuted church. This has been an issue near and dear to
me for a while. Due to family circumstances, the eMagazine had to be temporarily stopped.
Thankfully, it is back! And with a new look and some new sections!
“In Chains” is an eMagazine bringing you information and analysis on Christian persecution
worldwide. Every edition of the eMagazine reviews the previous month’s incidents. This gives time to
gather statistics and provide analysis. Many times, reports of instances don’t surface for weeks. “In
Chains” is released at the beginning of each month and reviews the previous month, bringing you, the
reader, more accurate information.
For more raw information, that comes to you as it is reported, follow PersecutedChurch Facebook page.
Each month, a different country will be selected as the “Highlighted Country.” In this section I will
write about the country and the difficulties it faces. The country is highlighted because it is often hard
to get accurate information. Sometimes, the best way is to talk about an issue, not just read the data.
Countries that don’t have enough reporting to constitute a section will be included in the “Other
Countries” section. The countries included in various sections will change month-to-month based on
reporting.
The refugee situation around the world is overwhelming. Christians are seeking refuge in many places.
Their stories will be here.
Last, there is a “Resource” page. This comprises the resources that are put out by various
organizations. They cover prayer requests, statistics on persecution, and more.
