A more in-depth treatment of Kiley’s life and legacy is available on TCLF’s website, www.tclf.org. The exhibition also calls attention to the need for informed and effective stewardship of his work (and by extension Modernist landscape architecture). The exhibition will continue to run through April 19. Open hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is the first time that Modernism Week has partnered with UCR Palm Desert and the exhibition organizer The Cultural Landscape Foundation. Tickets are $20. To make the ride to-and-from Palm Desert more enjoyable, Modernism Week will offer special luxury round-trip transportation from CAMP, Modernism Week’s central hub in downtown Palm Springs, to UCR Palm Desert. Tickets for transportation and the talk are $45.
