Since its beginnings in 1948, YHI International Ltd has
successfully diversified its business and carved a niche
for itself in the global automotive and industrial power
industry.
Listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange on 3
July 2003, YHI’s wide international presence can be seen in
over 100 countries operating through more than 30 entities
located in Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.
YHI International has 3 alloy wheels manufacturing plants
located in China, Taiwan and Malaysia with the capability
of producing 2.6 million alloy wheels per annum. As an
Original Design Manufacturer, it provides integrated
services from the design and development to the
manufacturing, marketing and distribution of alloy wheels.
With operations in 16 countries, YHI International Ltd offers
5 main products and more than 45 brands in its portfolio.
The brands include some of the world’s famous wheel &
tyre brands such as Toyo, Nitto, Nankang, Pirelli, Achilles,
Accelera, Enkei, Konig, Mamba and proprietary brands,
Neuton tyres and Advanti Racing wheels.
YHI International is also a distributor of a wide range
of industrial power products — from automotive and
rechargeable batteries for commercial and industrial use
to solar panels, chargers and UPS (uninterruptible power
supply) — from many well-known brands. They include
Trojan, Benning, Trina Solar, Eaton, Delta, Vision and the
Group’s own proprietary brand, Neuton Power.
The Group is focused on strengthening and widening
its distribution network, sharpening its sales focus
and embarking on its multi-brand, multi-category and
multi-product (3M) marketing strategy to promote and
develop its portfolio of premium and proprietary brands
internationally.

At YHI, our aim is to continuously provide our customers

ABOUT YHI (NEW ZEALAND) LTD
Established in Auckland, New Zealand in 1995, YHI (New
Zealand) Ltd is a subsidiary of YHI International Ltd and has
both Singaporean and New Zealand ownership.
In 2001 YHI added energy products to our range and such
products are now a substantial area of our business. We
offer comprehensive product ranges in solar power, electric
vehicle charging, automotive, marine and motive power
products, as well as offering UPS and power systems
solutions and services.
ABOUT
At first our product range consisted of only Viper & Enkei
alloy wheels. The famous Advanti Racing brand of alloys
arrived soon after. Nankang tyres were added to the range
in 1997 and our tyre range has been built constantly from
there to include Toyo, Pirelli, Nitto, Nankang, Achilles
Radial, Accelera, Neuton, Longmarch and most recently
Agricultural & Industrial tyre brands CEAT and Barkley.
YHI New Zealand has grown to operate from 8 locations
across New Zealand and has over 80 staff. Our distribution
network includes branches in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga,
Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill
as well as a third party warehouse in Palmerston North.

MARKETING
Every part of YHI New Zealand is serviced by a YHI account
manager. These specialist staff are available to provide
localised support and training on an ongoing basis. Training
can be based out of any of our branches or if required on
site at your premise.
Larger scale training can be arranged for specific products
and where possible includes manufacturer input.
We have our own in-house marketing department to
assist in the design and development of co-operative
promotional campaigns with our market leading brands on
either a local or national level.
Our marketing team can create and print flyers, product
sheets or brochures - all of which can be customised with
your logo by our design team.
Customer service support is not only at a local level but
also at a national level, with YHI’s commitment to online
product resources including access to downloadable
product brochures via our comprehensive website. YHI not
only has specialist account managers available to deal with
day to day enquiries but also call centre staff based in each
YHI location throughout New Zealand.

YHI STAFF
YHI New Zealand employs 87 staff throughout its
nationwide distribution network an. Staff are appraised
annually, allotted training hours if required, and benefits
reviewed. We are committed to equal opportunity

SCHOLARSHIPS
YHI New Zealand offer an annual scholarship for a member
of staff to undertake an Outward Bound course at Anakiwa
in the Marlbourough Sounds. The scholarship is open to
team members who have been on staff for more than one
year, who are committed, enthusiastic and will put into
practice back in the YHI workplace the values and skills
they learn. By investing in this annual scholarship, we
are looking to develop people with the right attitude into
potential leaders who can make a difference.

YHI as an organisation has strong core values and ethics.
We adopt the practise of ‘Kaizen’ which is a Japanese
business philosophy of continuous improvement of working
practises. in a nutshell we work to continuously adapt
and improve ourselves and our products, be it through

have been an important practise in our daily operation
since the YHI Group first adopted the system in 2011.
