A Message from Dean McNutt
College of Extended and International Education, CSUDH
The OLLI program at CSUDH offers
unique opportunities for individuals who
consider lifelong learning an integral part
of retirement. Our program consists of a
broad spectrum of experiences including
workshops, lecture series, cultural events,
field trips, study groups and more. All adults aged 50 and up are
welcome to join OLLI at CSUDH. Members represent all walks of
life, a wide range of experience and diverse backgrounds.
This is a special time in the history of OLLI at Dominguez Hills.
2018 marks the 15th anniversary of the lifelong learning
program. OLLI has grown from humble beginnings to more than
500 active members participating in programs at CSUDH,
Levy Adult Center and our newest location at the Beach Cities
Health Center in Redondo Beach.
To ensure that OLLI remains vibrant and self-sustaining, we have
launched the “Enrich OLLI” annual giving program kicking off
this holiday season. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by December
30, 2018. Toward that goal, I ask you to consider making a $100
donation. Making a gift is easy and convenient! You can go
online using our secure giving site at www.csudh.edu/
onlinegiving, look for the OLLI 15th Anniversary button at the
bottom of your screen, and follow the prompts. The page is
slow to load, so PLEASE be patient. Of course you can gift OLLI
using a check if that is more convenient. All OLLI gifts will be
used to enhance OLLI programs which serve hundreds of retired
and semi-retired members-many of whom are finding a new
purpose and path by participating in OLLI classes and events.
Every gift, large or small is valued and appreciated!

be energized by the mutual support that such learning
communities offer. I have always believed in the concept of
K-80 education, and OLLI at CSUDH provides the perfect
