AGRA<br />

The Taj Mahal is well known across the world for its historical value, its tale of love,<br />

and its stunning beauty. The Taj Mahal is located in the historic <strong>In</strong>dian city of Agra. It<br />

houses the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It is<br />

said that the Emperor loved his wife dearly and was prompted to build the Taj Mahal<br />

after her death as a testament to his love.


GOA<br />

Goa is worldwide well-liked for its pictorial beauty, striking beaches, beautifully<br />

architecture temples, grand festival celebrations and unending Anglo-<strong>In</strong>dian heritage<br />

and it draws millions of tourists from all over the world every year. The people who<br />

often define Goa to be all beach, beer and sun surely know least of this exotic<br />

paradise where the culture, tradition and living is much different from almost the rest<br />

part of our country.


JAIPUR<br />

Planned by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, Jaipur holds the distinction of being the first<br />

planned city of <strong>In</strong>dia. Renowned globally for its coloured gems, The capital city of the<br />

Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of the<br />

metropolis. The bustling modern city is one of the three corners of the golden<br />

triangles that includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.


KERALA<br />

The most popular tourist destinations in <strong>In</strong>dia and Kerala as one of the "ten<br />

paradises of the world". Kerala's beaches, backwaters, lakes, mountain ranges,<br />

waterfalls, ancient ports, palaces, religious institutions and wildlife sanctuaries are<br />

major attractions for both domestic and international tourists.


DELHI<br />

There are numerous tourist attractions in Delhi, both historic and modern. The<br />

three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Delhi, Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Humayun's<br />

Tomb are among the finest examples of <strong>In</strong>do-Islamic architecture.


DARJEELING<br />

Darjeeling is known for its tea industry. There are lots of popular tourist places to visit.<br />

The culture of Darjeeling is diverse and includes a variety of indigenous practices<br />

and festivals as mentioned above. Many of the Nepali Hindus, as well as the various<br />

Buddhist and other ethnic groups such as the Lepchas, Bhutias, Kiranti Limbus,<br />

Tibetans, Yolmos, Gurungs and Tamangs, have their own distinct languages and<br />

cultures and yet share a largely harmonious co-existence.


VARANASI<br />

This city is Dedicated to the God Shiva. It is a major centre of pilgrimage.<br />

It is also known as Culture city of <strong>In</strong>dia.


KUTCH<br />

Kutch is place in Gujarat, which is known as The Great Salt Desert. Kutch literally<br />

means something which intermittently becomes wet and dry; a large part of this<br />

district is known as Rann of Kutch which is shallow wet land which submerges in<br />

water during the rainy season and becomes dry during other seasons.
