BUDDIES AT CAMP
Girls attend camp individually, not as a troop,
but they may choose to attend with one buddy.
If your camper has a special buddy that is in
the same grade level and attending the same
camp session they must request each other
during registration. Only one buddy request will
be honored.
Remember a buddy is not a requirement and
is not guaranteed. Many campers come to
camp without a buddy and make new friends.
We make every effort to accommodate your
camper’s buddy request. Girls of the same
troop will not be guaranteed placement
together. They must request one buddy only
to be placed with during their camp session.
Please do not select multiple buddies.

CHECK-IN
If your camper is attending multiple camps, we
will be able to copy most forms. There will still
be a few that need to be completed each week
(Camper Release and Activity/Medical Consent
Form). You will receive your confirmation
packet when you register for summer camp,
attached to your camp session in your “My
GS” account under “My Activities” along with all
forms necessary for your camp session.
Please read through the packet with your
camper, review and complete all the forms and
email to summercamp@citrus-gs.org no later
than 2 weeks before your camp session start
date. Camp Doc must be complete 2 weeks prior
to camp session start date.
Please arrive to check-in during designated
time with medications, trip money, trading post
money, or any outstanding forms. All campers
will participate in a health check at our “heads
and toes” station to check for fever and other
communicable conditions. Also please ensure
that everyone that comes to check in is wearing
closed toed shoes, as you will be walking to the
units.

Parents and guests are asked to accompany
your camper into the unit and then depart
shortly after to allow time for the counselors to
transition your camper and get them ready for
their swim test, dinner and evening program.

Check-In: Sunday
• Counselor-in-Training (CITs): 12:00 p.m.
• Daisy/Brownie: 2:00 p.m.
• Junior: 2:30 p.m.
• Cadette/Senior/Ambassador: 3:00 p.m.
Check-Out for Sampler Camps:
• Tuesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Check-Out for Resident Camps:
• Friday from 3:00-4:30 p.m.
