?I Want To Help!? ? she said.
Without realizing it the Dad punished her
for it. Made her feel bad for wanting to help.
Because that urge within her led to an
action. That action being to grab the
luggage, even though she didn?t know she
wasn?t strong enough.
THAT DIDN'T STOP
"HER FROM TRYING
"
Little Girl that it?s wrong to want to help. That
when those urges were felt to help, to squash
them down and ignore them because it might
lead to her failing.
That didn?t stop her from trying.
Then that action led to giving her Dad some
pain. Added to his Stress. That felt bad
enough on its own. The fact that she FAILED
TO HELP in her Father?s eyes.
Then to top it off, that led to being yelled at
by her Father. Which is yet ANOTHER pain
for that little girl.
It might lead to her getting yelled at again.
Something she didn?t like because she loved
her Father and didn?t wish to hurt him.
If the dad did that here or there it probably
wouldn?t matter anything. But what do you
think would happen to the Little Girl if this was
repeated each day?
That?s why thank Goodness for you, Mom!
Us humans avoid pain as much as possible,
unless it?s the pain towards getting
something we really, really want! (like
MONEY! Hence working a job that we don?t
like!)
In swoops the Mom and gathers up her Little
Girl! Acknowledges her emotions, her feelings,
her wantings to help. Didn?t make her feel bad
for feeling them.
Or avoiding a BIGGER PAIN from happening.
(like you running into a burning building to
save your Little One)
And like a PRO, Mom DOESN?T make Dad the
bad guy?
So in that little exchange in the airport
there, the father unknowingly taught his
