Us men need jobs to do, but we tend to not like
getting help from you in getting it done. As silly
as that sounds it?s so true. You, in your loving
nature, see that helping as showing your love?
It?s how you show that you care, by helping.
This is one of the more frustrating things about
us men, I admit.
ESPECIALLY when YOU know that you?re right!
(which 99% of the time you are because you
ARE the smarter species, just so you know) ;)

That?s when complaints start coming in of you
being a nag, when in reality you?re just trying to
help!
Sir Lancelot over in Camelot slayed HIS dragon
without any help. Which means he?s so much
better than me! Uh-oh, is my princess going to
leave me for him!
Then doubts and insecurities come rolling in.
One last point ?
This is the 21st century? a man?s ego needs to
lighten up a bit.
Know that the world doesn?t revolve around him
and ?feeling like a man? all the time.
You give us a job to do, a dragon to slay, and by
slaying that dragon in your honor WITHOUT
help, its what makes us feel capable and our life
now has meaning.
By getting your help, (especially help from a
GIRL) it means that we aren?t worthy of your
love. We are worthless. That you don?t trust us
to get the job done.
Our confidence is shot.
That knight in that story was very self-centered.
Even though it?s a good representation of what?s
going on in a dude?s brain half the time, that story
spoke more to the MAN?S shortcomings than the
woman?s.
The Princess was RIGHT! If she wasn?t given good
instruction, he probably would have died! Instead
of being a jerk and wishing she would just leave
him alone and let him doing his slaying thing, he
could have appreciated her!
