Hotel B
Lima’s Barranco district is a combination of tradition and
modernity. A classic meeting place for musicians, writers, and
artists of all kinds, this neighbourhood boasts an assortment
of lovely cafes, lively bars, independent boutiques, and
organic marketplaces. Much like the area itself, the hotels
located here faultlessly bring together glamour and bohemia.
Wandering through the many spaces of Hotel B is a pleasure.
The sitting room, decorated in a French style, is the heart of
the hotel and offers access to all the hotel’s services. The
library is the perfect meeting place for those who enjoy a
good read and is adorned with watercolours painted by
Pancho Fierro, and cartography maps. Guests have exclusive
access to the lounge located on the second floor, as well as
the cosy outdoor terrace – an ideal place to spend a summer
afternoon, getting some fresh air and enjoying the stunning
view of the Pacific Ocean.
And for those who are looking to polish their bartending
skills, Hotel B offers classes led by a skilled sommelier.
Hotel B effortlessly emits Barranco’s hip energy. The gorgeous
Belle Époque-style mansion – built in the 1920’s – overflows
with contemporary works of art that fill the extensive walls
with colour and flair. The mansion was initially used as a
summer home for a wealthy Lima family and was built with
gorgeous finishing that include Italian marble, exotic woods,
high ceilings, open balconies, and terraces.
Many of these characteristics were considered upon initiating
the restoration process, with the goal of maintaining the
mansion’s original essence while simultaneously bringing it
