Well hello there! I’m back with my monthly column… OK, so firstly a reminder
about me. I’m Zena (Zee for short), I’m 45, a mother and a grandmother.

I am hoping the Christmas break
was all you hoped for?
It’s January sale time, the
perfect opportunity to
buy those staples for the
year. A great coat and
great footwear will see
you through until next sale
season. It’s bit like when
you’re redecorating you
spend the most money on
the flooring and curtains
then anything else you add
just looks great!
Now, I‘m not sure how you will take this
news, but cowboy boots are having a
renaissance. I‘m actually quiet pleased
and totally on the lookout for my own
on eBay! If you don’t want to go full on
Texan style here is some high
street inspiration. It ties in
nicely with fringing, which
has featured heavily on
the 2019 catwalks. I’m not
suggesting you go all ‘Achy
Breaky Heart’ on me but
consider adding a little to
your SS19 wardrobe.
My favourites on the
catwalks were Dolce and
Gabbana - they set a president and used
plus size models which I think should
happen in all shows.
Floral trouser suits will be everywhere and
the great thing about that is you can wear
