Recommended for ages 7-9<br />
In New Mouse City on Mouse Island lived Geronimo Stilton, a nervous and<br />

The Maze Runner<br />

Imagine waking up in an elevator remembering nothing but your own<br />
name - this was the experience of Thomas, the main character in The<br />
Maze Runner. He emerges into a world of 60 teen boys who have learned<br />
to survive in the Maze. For three years, the boys have been trying to find a<br />
way to escape but the road out is not easy. Thomas and several of his<br />
companions try to run for freedom, but will they make it?<br />
The Hunger Games<br />
Recommended for age 10-15<br />
The story revolves around the annual reality show, the “Hunger Games”,<br />
held in The Capitol of Panem. Every year a boy and a girl from each of<br />
Panem’s 12 districts is chosen to compete in a fight to the death. Katniss<br />
Everdeen - a 16-year-old girl from District 12 volunteers to replace her<br />
younger sister, Primrose Everdeen. Her courage and bravery lead her to<br />
become the victor of the seventy-fourth annual Hunger Games.<br />
My Sister’s Keeper<br />
Recommended for ages 16-17<br />
Imagine that your parents gave birth to you so that you could be the<br />
donor of bone marrow and platelets to your older sister, who has a rare<br />
form of cancer. Imagine what it must be like to grow up in a family where<br />
all decisions revolve around a deadly illness or medical emergency. In the<br />
book, 11-year-old Anna Fitzgerald is tired of undergoing medical<br />
procedures to donate to her sister. My Sister’s Keeper is a book about<br />
family, siblings, choices, and the sacrifices we have to make in life.<br />
