RRUGA TREGETARE<br />
“Rruga Tregtare”, sot “Bulevardi Epidamn”, u<br />
ndërtua pas dëmti<strong>me</strong>ve që shkaktoi tër<strong>me</strong>ti i vitit<br />
1926. Me hapjen e kësaj rruge fillonte <strong>dhe</strong> zbatimi i<br />
një plani rregullues modern i qytetit të Durrësit <strong>me</strong><br />
para<strong>me</strong>trat urbanistik të qyteteve europiane. Në të<br />
dy anët e kësaj rruge u ngritën ndërtesa dy e tre<br />
katëshe (vila), të stilit të arkitekturës bashkëkohore,<br />
<strong>me</strong> dekor të larmishëm. Katet e sipërm shërbenin<br />
për banim ndërsa katet e para ishin për tregtim, të<br />
cilët i dhanë emrin “Rruga tregëtare”. Ato ruhen<br />
ende sot si përfaqësuese të ndërti<strong>me</strong>ve<br />
arkitekturore të viteve ’30-40 të shek. XX.<br />
