Chemicals for motion picture
industries.
cineline
Motion Picture Chemicals – not
only a complete range of Tetenal premixed chemical
concentrates for processing motion picture films - more
a comprehensive offering for motion picture labs encompassing
the three core aspects of the cineline concept
- kit chemicals for all processes, raw materials for own
bulk mixing and a consulting service.
Many motion picture labs are preparing their processing
chemicals by bulk mixing from chemical raw materials.
Tetenal offers all solid or liquid chemicals which are needed
for modern photochemical processing. Tetenal uses
these chemicals for production of its own products but
also offers them to professional users. The specification
of these chemicals fullfill photochemical demands. Each
incoming batch is controlled by our QC department.
regeneration (recycling) and a simple check of p.H. and
S.G. is all that is necessary.
Tetenal consulting offers our customers the benefit of
the years of experience in research and development of
photographic chemicals by our chemist and engineering
team. It is most important to choose the right process
variant for a particular lab situation giving the most economic
option but having due regard for environmental
considerations.
Chemical management is made easy when using the
right automatic mixing and metering equipment. For
many years Tetenal has worked closely with leading
manufactures in this field and can provide unbiased
advice trough its consulting service.
An increasing number of motion picture labs switch
from bulk mixing to kit chemicals. The advantage of
bulk mixing is the low price of the raw chemicals. On the
other hand high costs are arising from staff and occupancy
costs. Additional analysis is required for testing
the mix before it is released as a photographic solution
suitable for use.
Kit chemicals make mixing replenishers and working
solutions easy and reduces the personnel and equipment
requirements. Mixing the replenisher is just one simple
step, dilution with water. This is done either manually or
by an automatic mixing system. Analytical testing is no
longer required – the sensitometric process control gives
all the necessary information regarding the performance
of the chemicals.
To reduce the consumption of chemicals and waste
volume, recycling of the processing bath is now standard
procedure in many labs. Mainly bleaches and fixers
are recycled, but often also colour developers. It is a
simple and safe procedure: The overflow is collected,
after adding the required regenerator new replenisher
is available. Fixers are, of course, de-silvered prior to
Antistatic Spray
Surfactive agent to eliminate and prevent static electricity on metal, glass, plastic, e.g. on machines, equipment,
films and foils. The finely dosed solvent evaporates immediately so you don‘t have to polish with a cloth. A very
thin layer of the antistatic agent is left on the surface which has no negative chemical or optical effects on the film
material. 400 ml can.
