THE BAR IS hidden behind a door in a quiet residential
area. Next to the doorbell is a gold plate
with a pharmacy snake. The door opens, you
announce yourself as a patient and walk up the
stairs with the hostess or bartender. When the
curtains open, you are standing in the middle of
a bar that looks like it came out of the beginning
of the last century.
THE BAR, THE antique back bar, the medical trinkets
and the bartenders in white doctor’s coats:
this is not your average bar, or doctor’s practice.
The menu has its house rules based on the
anatomy, and the cocktails are meticulously measured
and mixed medicines to cure all aliments.
