2019

Nature, art and enjoyment are the ingredients
which create a very special experience for you.
That’s what we do our very best to offer,
because coming to our hotel should be a little
like coming home.
This year we have concentrated on refurbishing
the hotel’s entrance, lobby and bar area. We now
welcome you beneath the shelter of a canopy,
while moving images are beamed on to the
artistically designed façade. The Reception area
is really inviting, with comfortable metal
armchairs and a beautiful hand-knotted carpet
that has been specially made for the lobby.
The new bar area was designed and created by
the artist Ty Waltinger and features stylish seats
made of knitted copper mesh, ostrich feather
lamps and handmade glass chandeliers. The Swiss
pine ceiling decorated in antique bordeaux purple,
the seating corner with its artistically painted
floor, and the fresco on the wall made of
hand-hammered silver all create a warm, almost
mystical atmosphere.
Reinhard Pohorec helped us with our new bar
concept. Austria’s first Cognac Educator, and
the youngest person in the world to hold the
title, he specialises in combining the enjoyment
of fine drinks with multisensory experiences,
and he has made the Glocke, our new bar,
a place of sheer indulgence.
Come and see for yourself what’s beautiful,
special and great about our hotel. We’re already
looking forward to giving you a treat!
and the Krallerhof team

Water. Light. Love. The sensory charm
of colour. Fine art, the 10-metre-long
water painting by Ty Waltinger made of
lapis lazuli and old Parisian blue.
The fascinating freedom of diversity. The
Refugium, a wonderful place to just let go.

Amazing silence. Drift away. Wrap yourself in
the warm embrace of our world of wellness.
Impressively grand and with a fascinating
mystique. A place where the opportunities
for recuperation seem endless.
Four different rest rooms, each
with its own special magic.
The large open-air pool in the
grounds, the sauna pool, the long
indoor pool with its sound dome,
eight saunas and steam baths and an
exclusive Private Spa – in the Refugium,
it’s all about relaxation.
Counting sheep really isn’t the best solution!
According to the latest studies, you should
imagine yourself beside the sea or a babbling
brook if you want to get to sleep quickly.
However, what has been proven to be more
effective and far cosier is “power sleeping”.
You’ll sleep soundly in one of our
30 power sleeping rooms, in which all the
fittings are made only of purely natural
materials. Oak floors and Swiss pine walls
create the ideal room climate. The beds are
fitted with the Samina sleeping system,
including a freely suspended slatted frame
made of ash wood. With covers and
blankets made of premium-quality sheep’s
wool, you will enjoy a dry, warm sleeping
environment. A Lokosana grounding pad
ensures a stabilised magnetic field to
enhance the quality of your sleep.
Power sleeping at the Krallerhof means
sleeping well, naturally.
As mysterious and limitless as the sky.
The sensation of preciousness.
The preciousness that is found uniquely
in Nature. In whiteness. In the woods,
the mountains, the scenery. As if created by
the gods. A harmonious whole that brings
the gift of tranquillity. And inner peace.

Their laughter is infectious. They get so excited about
the smallest new discovery. And they show us that
every moment is unique and beautiful. Children bring
wonder into our lives. Their curiosity and urge to
explore seem limitless. So that’s why we make the
entertainment programme for children so varied here at
the Krallerhof – in winter and in summer. And we have
some exciting outdoor activities for teenagers, too.
Krallis Club & Villa Kunterbunt
We provide childcare at the hotel for children over the age
of 2.5 at Krallis Club, in an area of over 300 m 2 with
climbing frame, slides, creative corner and much more.
In winter, children staying at the hotel are looked after from
3.30 p.m. free of charge. During the main holiday season,
children can enjoy their own evening buffet! At the
professionally managed Villa Kunterbunt kindergarten
at the Asitzbahn valley station, little non-skiers from the age
of 2 are lovingly cared for by the hour or for the whole day,
with lots of fun and games.
In summer, children are looked after free of charge all day at
the Krallis Club.
Children’s ski school
There are two ways for the youngest children to make
their first attempts on skis: at Krallis Club next to the
hotel or at Leo’s Kids’ Club by the Asitzbahn valley
station. With a magic carpet, ski carousel and colourful
figures, children over the age of 3 are bound to have fun
here. And the personal teaching in small groups provided
by the experienced team from the Skiszene Altenberger
gives them the best possible chance of success.
Fun for kids
• Adventure walks
• Excursion to “Senses Park”
Life in the sunshine. An ode to joy, a dance of delight.
Happiness was born a twin. When shared, it is doubled.
Life is wonderful, and even better because you’re with
your loved ones.
Whether it’s a birthday, a christening or some other
happy event – this is a wonderful place for a party.
At the KrallerAlm, Alte Schmiede or AsitzBräu,
in the cosy rooms of the hotel restaurant or one of
the many function rooms – celebrate at the Krallerhof,
celebrate life!
Your dream wedding
Weddings are simply a wonderful
opportunity to celebrate, we believe.
That’s why we’ve come up with our
exclusive Honeymoon Special. If you
spend your honeymoon* with us,
you’ll not only find your room romantically
decorated but also get a free upgrade
to the next highest room category,
subject to availability.
* Marriage certificate required

Welcoming, authentic, unique. Just 100 metres
away from the Krallerhof, it is regarded as the
most original event venue in the mountains.
The KrallerAlm was built exclusively from
recycled materials, with a great deal of love and
care. The interior decor is based on the theme of
spinning and weaving, so there is a little mill
stream, a 4-tonne mill wheel and an old
wool-combing machine. With a spacious sunshine
terrace with views of the Leoganger Steinberge,
and several traditional lounges, complete with its
own dance floor, the KrallerAlm easily has room
for 350 people. Pizza from the wood-fired oven,
regional and international food and specialities
like Barbecue and “hat eating”, events.
Europe’s highest brewery museum is just a few steps
away from the Alte Schmiede. This is where you
can taste the exclusive AsitzBräu beer: an incomparable
treat. Perhaps it’s because the amber-coloured beer
comes from the oldest brewery in the East Tyrol.
Or perhaps it’s because the views of the Leoganger
mountains from the terrace are just breathtaking.
Surrounded by fascinating artefacts from the brewery,
you can enjoy the relaxed mountain hut ambience,
accompanied by genuine brewery cuisine. Night-time
tobogganing, the Asitz Music Night and the spectacular
Beats & Fire Show make the AsitzBräu a truly amazing
mountain hut. In the late autumn, it’s a popular
meeting place for bikers and hikers. The big AsitzBräu
Oktoberfest is an annual highlight.
Probably the most exceptional mountain restaurant
anywhere. Probably the best ski lodge anywhere.
Just a few steps away from the top station of the
Asitzbahn and Steinbergbahn cable cars, this little
gem is situated at 1760 metres above sea level.
The Alte Schmiede (Old Smithy) is in a class of its
own. In winter, it’s a really special ski hut, a place
to treat yourself to a break while skiing, and it has
the best après-ski atmosphere, too. In summer,
it’s an amazing place for culture-vultures, because
it’s where the legendary concerts TONspuren on the
Asitz take place. But the Alte Schmiede is also a
popular stopping place for hikers and bikers. And
while in winter you can enjoy the sheer romance of
tobogganing by moonlight, in the warmer months
there’s a summer toboggan run, too.

We always see food and drink as an imaginative interpretation
of the same subject: pure enjoyment in every sense. It’s typical
Krallerhof, in fact. And our chefs are definitely keen to please,
especially since the recent enhancements to the kitchen.
Homemade specialities, first-class local regional produce,
herbs and vegetables mainly from our own garden, meat from
Salzburger Naturbeef and local fish – they prepare seasonal
and regional ingredients with finesse and loving care, to create
perfect little delicacies. Flavour is seductive…

The rooms at the Krallerhof are different. And they always
give you that little bit more. More space. More sensations.
More style. More individuality. Distinctive olive wood
floors, antique pine ceilings, fine carpets and elegant
marble baths – each room is one of a kind. Or to put
it another way: the magic of the rooms lies in their
uniqueness. Comfortable and charming with an artistic
touch – these are rooms with the feel-good factor.
Naturally, the amenities provided in all our rooms –
minibar, hairdryer, TV, radio, safe, WiFi, bathrobe and
First Class Guest Supplies – are of 5-star standard.
Cinnamon
Suites Nos. 380, 389 (71 m 2 )
The floors are made of
exclusive Wenge timber.
Antique semi-columns
serve as room dividers.
Noble glass bricks and tiles,
murals made of genuine
Ochre shades (pigments
dating back to around
100 years), Terra di Siena
and Van Dyck brown all
combine to lend these
two suites their homely
ambience.
Ultramarine
Suites Nos. 180, 181, 182 (71 m 2 )
Ultramarine, sky-blue and olive hues permeate the basic character of these
three suites. The airy atmosphere in the interior symbolises a direct link with
the surrounding waterscape. Comforting, relaxing, reminiscent of holidays –
colours which take their cue from sea grass, Indigo and Cerulean blue, starfish
and pebbles. Luxury fabrics with a jute finish, olivewood floors, murals using
genuine lapis lazuli, old wooden pillars and doors from the years 1823 to
1850 as well as solid natural stone walls all combine to produce a delightful
mix of materials.
The single-storey suites consist of a living/sleeping room with double bed,
a separate children’s room with 2 single beds, a hall and a separate toilet
and bidet. The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, separate shower and
2 washbasins. The generously-proportioned terrace faces the pond.
The single-storey suites with
balcony consist of a living/
sleeping room with double
bed and sofabed, a separate children’s room with 2 single beds,
hall, separate WC and bidet. The bathroom is fitted with bathtub
and separate shower and 2 washbasins.
Cinnamon Suite Ultramarine Suite Saffron Suite
Purple Suite
Purple
Suites Nos. 283, 286, 383, 386 (64 m 2 )
These single-storey suites with terrace or balcony
are bound to impress thanks to their oriental
ambience.
The artist has bathed the rooms in genuine shades
of Purple, Carmine and Cochineal pigments.
Centuries-old wooden doors from India, floors
made of Merbau wood, antique brick floors, luxury
fabrics and numerous details give these suites a
unique ambience.
They comprise a living/sleeping room with double
bed and oriental upholstery, a separate children’s
room with 2 single beds, a hall and the bathroom.
The bathroom is fitted with bathtub, shower
and 2 washbasins. The WC with bidet is separate.
Saffron
Suites Nos. 280, 281, 282,
287, 288, 289 (71 m 2 each)
These single-storey suites incor porate
sandstone walls. Here, too, real
rosewood floors are combined with
numerous oriental details.
The artfully designed tables,
one-off wooden pieces and murals
using genuine Indian yellow shades
as well as Bordeaux, genuine Saffron
and Madder red, lend these suites
a gentle, feminine air.
The suites comprise a living/sleeping
room with double bed and sofabed,
a separate children’s room with
2 single beds, a hall and a separate
toilet and bidet. The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, separate
shower and 2 washbasins.
The standard fitting includes a spacious balcony.
Purple Suite

Vanilla
Suites Nos. 381, 382, 387, 388 (105 m 2 each)
These extremely generously-proportioned suites, with their artistic
murals made of titanium dioxide and Terra di Pozzuoli, are primarily
intended for families with up to five children. They extend over
two levels, with wooden floors made of Doussie timbers and Italian
coloured glass bricks in the bathroom. The stone walls made of
Jura marble in the living/sleeping room provide an interesting
contrast to the antique wooden doors.
Downstairs …
Gold Suite
These suites have a living/sleeping room with a double bed and
sofabed, a separate children’s room with double bed and sofabed,
a hall on each level and a walk-in closet on the lower level.
The bathroom is fitted with a large bathtub, separate shower and
2 washbasins. The WC with bidet is separate.
The smaller bathroom is on the upper level and has its own toilet,
in addition to a shower and washbasin.
Gold
Suite Nr. 384 (114 m 2 )
There is a balcony on each level.
Gold Suite
Our largest suite extends over two floors with a mezzanine,
and is therefore ideally suited to families with several children.
It is distinguished by gilded walls, rosewood floors and numerous
exquisite details, as well as specially-designed items of furniture,
created by artist Ty Waltinger for this luxury suite. Murals using
old Indian yellow, Madder red, Terra di Pozzuoli dating back to
around 1910, and 24-carat gold leaf are among the special features
of this suite.
It is equipped with artful lighting objects and state-of-the-art
LED lighting systems. This suite literally gleams, thanks to
coloured glass bricks and carefully selected glass tiles by
Trend-Bisazza in the bathroom and toilet.
The lower level includes the bedroom with double bed, a separate
living room with open fireplace, and the large bathroom is fitted
out with whirlpool bath, separate shower and 2 washbasins.
There is separate access to the toilet and bidet. This suite also
has its own herbal sauna (55° C).
Vanilla Suite Vanilla Suite Silver Suite
Silver
Suite No. 284 (87 m 2 )
The upper level has a separate children’s room with 2 single beds
and a sofabed, a hall and an additional bathroom with shower,
1 washbasin and toilet.
The three separate balconies have views of the garden and the
grassy meadows in the foothills of the Kitzbüheler mountains.
Genuine rosewood floors and a timber ceiling dating
back to approx. 1739, an antique table from the year
1842 and a sliding door with antique carvings, not to
mention an open fireplace, silver-gilded walls and
artistic murals using indigo, Indian yellow and genuine
gilt – no wonder this suite makes quite an impression.
The bedroom with double bed has a large ensuite
bathroom with whirlpool, separate shower and
2 washbasins. The additional children’s room with
2 single beds, which can easily also accommodate
a third bed, has a bathroom with shower, washbasin
and integrated WC.
A cosy sitting room with fireplace forms the focal point
of this suite, providing a gathering place for the whole
family.
From the two terraces, you can see the swimming pool
and a small lake.
