The JCC’s Early Childhood <strong>Program</strong>, After School & School<br />

Age <strong>Program</strong>s and Teen <strong>Program</strong>s all operate under the<br />

umbrella of our Children’s <strong>Program</strong>ming department. This<br />

allows us to be highly flexible, responsive and autonomous in<br />

serving our members, families and the community.<br />

preschool. Our specialized program uses<br />

the Creative Curriculum paired with NYS<br />

Early Learning <strong>Guide</strong>lines and a Reggio<br />

Emilia-inspired approach to learning (see<br />

Monday–Friday<br />

7 am – 6 pm<br />

The <strong>2018</strong>-20<strong>19</strong> school<br />

year is currently<br />

underway and runs<br />

through June. There<br />

are still some limited spaces in the program. If<br />

you are interested in enrolling your child for<br />

this year, please contact Pam Ranieri at<br />

315-445-2040, ext. 123, to set up a tour.<br />

Early registration for the upcoming 20<strong>19</strong>-2020<br />

school year begins February 1, 20<strong>19</strong>. We will<br />

send current Early Childhood families and<br />

JCC members registration packets at the end<br />

of January. If you are currently not a member<br />

of the JCC and would like to take advantage<br />

of early registration, you may join the JCC<br />

in February. Enrolling your child early will<br />

guarantee classroom placement. Registration<br />

opens to the public on March 1, 20<strong>19</strong>.<br />

For each new school year, your completed<br />

enrollment paperwork along with the $25<br />

registration fee must be submitted. Additional<br />

paperwork will be sent home in May.<br />

HOW to RegisTER<br />

Age groups served<br />

Infant — 6 weeks – 8 months<br />

• Must be six weeks old by Sept. 3, 20<strong>19</strong><br />

Toddler — 18 months – 36 months<br />

• Must be 18 months by Sept. 3, 20<strong>19</strong><br />

Preschool<br />

• Must be age 3 by Dec. 1, 20<strong>19</strong><br />

Pre-Kindergarten<br />

• Must be age 4 by Dec. 1, 20<strong>19</strong><br />

Withdrawals, changes<br />

Enrollment in ECDP is a commitment to our<br />

10-month school year which consists of three<br />

sessions: September–November, December–<br />

February and March–June. Any program<br />

withdrawals or enrollment changes must be<br />

made 30 days before the start of a session.<br />
