The Dive Burgers & Brews // If you’re searching for the perfect burger joint, I found<br />
it. Nestled in a strip mall across the street from Sierra College, you’ll find The Dive Burgers & Brews. Though<br />
unassuming on the exterior, it has charming décor (reclaimed wood <strong>and</strong> galvanized metal), a super friendly<br />
staff, <strong>and</strong> seriously good food. They have an extensive menu, which can pose to be problematic for indecisive<br />
palates, so I left my choice up to the helpful lady taking my order. She recommended the Redneck Burger,<br />
which features fresh, 100-percent certified Angus beef, chopped bacon, melty cheddar, sautéed mushrooms,<br />
fried green beans (which I initially questioned but came to love), redneck slaw, jalapeños, <strong>and</strong> beast sauce.<br />
I loved every messy mouthful of it <strong>and</strong> found the buttery brioche bun to be the perfect, pillowy soft vessel<br />
for all the fresh fixin’s. My mom had the Lamb Burger <strong>and</strong> said she would definitely order it again; <strong>and</strong> my<br />
husb<strong>and</strong> had the Dive Burger, which came with an over-easy egg <strong>and</strong> dem<strong>and</strong>ed napkins…<strong>and</strong> a hearty<br />
appetite. We shared fried pickles, house fries, <strong>and</strong> sweet potato fries—all were easily above average—but next<br />
time I’m digging into their namesake Dive Fries; they’re covered in nacho cheese sauce, house slaw, redneck<br />
sauce, sour cream, <strong>and</strong> jalapeños, so they’re destined to be delicious. The eatery also serves s<strong>and</strong>wiches,<br />
salads, <strong>and</strong> craft beer from the region’s best breweries. Bring your appetite, <strong>and</strong> get ready to “dive” into<br />
