Go beyond the card with Co-op Connections Flint Energies is your electric cooperative, and we’re excited to celebrate the cooperative difference by offering our Consumer-members even more savings. Through our partnership with Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives, Flint offers our Members the free Co-op Connections® Program, which helps you save money year round on meals, shopping, prescriptions, travel and more! In turn, participating local businesses benefit from increased customer traffic and promotions in Co-op communications and advertising materials. Besides local savings, Co-op Connections offers national discounts on services, attractions, hotels, car rentals and more. Healthy savings discounts are available for prescriptions, dental, chiropractic, vision and hearing aids. The program also offers discounts on lab testing and diabetic supplies. New Flint Members receive a Co-op Connections Card and key fob. In recent years, Flint has also mailed paper copies as bill inserts and cover wraps in GEORGIA Magazine. However, even if you don’t have an actual card, it’s still easy to participate because there’s an app for that! Members can “Go Beyond the Card” to save in their communities, while on the go and online. To activate your free membership, first go online to connections.coop; click “sign up” in the upper right-hand corner. From there you’ll enter your name, ZIP code and a password to create your account. You may browse there, but also go to your device’s app store and search “Co-op Connections.” Download the app and use your new login information to access deals and start saving. Flint Energies Members are especially encouraged to support your favorite local participating businesses. If you need a new card, simply print one at connections.coop or visit your local Flint Energies office. Don’t forget you can also download the free Co-op Connections app for Apple or Android devices. If you own a local business and wish to be part of the Co-op Connections Program, you can join at no cost.
