Mike Wells has owned the Perry business since 1993.<br />
Mike grew up working in the family business when it was<br />
Wells 24 Hour, started by his grandfather and also ran<br />
by his father. At one time, they also had a tire shop in<br />
downtown Perry.<br />
Mike and his two brothers all worked in the family<br />
business while growing up, and his brother William ran<br />
it as a roadside service for 18 years. Now Mike employs<br />
seven people and has a fleet of five trucks, three<br />
rollbacks, one wrecker and one service truck to meet the<br />
needs of anyone who calls them for help.<br />
We provide tows, unlock vehicles, do jump starts, move<br />
storage buildings and do tire changes, says Rae Wells,<br />
Mike’s sister-in-law, who is also the company’s office<br />
manager.<br />
Rae adds that they work with several roadside<br />
assistance services, such as AAA, Geico and Quest.<br />
They also offer 24-hour service, because problems don’t<br />
only happen during business hours.<br />
