Established in 2008, the Perfect Pear is a restaurant and catering<br />

business.<br />

The Pear’s services include local lunch delivery, cocktail parties,<br />

rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, picnics, corporate events, and<br />

baby and bridal showers, owner Megan Wilson-Brent said.<br />

“We are one of middle Georgia’s premiere wedding caterers and<br />

dining destinations,” Wilson-Brent said, adding that the restaurant is<br />

known for its “delicious appetizers, great sandwiches and salads, and<br />

decadent ‘Pear-made’ desserts.”<br />

The Georgia Department of Tourism named the business to its list of<br />

100 Plates Locals Love in 2016 and <strong>2018</strong>, and the restaurant has received<br />

multiple Best of the Best awards from the Macon Telegraph.<br />

Mossy Creek Natural is a bohemian-styled gift shop with an in-house<br />

apothecary lab.<br />

“We create locally-made bath body products and also offer classes/<br />

workshops,” owner Michelle Rhoades stated. “We provide an array of<br />

gifts with a positive message, bohemian-styled clothing, handmade<br />

jewelry, and a full line of bath body products inspired by nature.”<br />

She and her husband, Dan Rhoades, opened the store in downtown<br />

Perry in 2015.<br />

The Perry Area Historical Society Museum is a local museum and<br />

heritage center providing historical information to the community<br />

about the people, places, and events of the past, Historical Society<br />

President Ellie Loudermilk said.<br />

The Perry Area Historical Society Museum opened in 2010 and<br />

provides tours, lectures, educational programs, research assistance, and<br />

access to books to assist research efforts.<br />
