Received your letter this morning and was glad<br />

to hear from you. I am now in the Y. M. C.<br />

A. after a gas mask test. We got two kinds of<br />

gases, tear gas and the gas that would kill you in<br />

6 seconds.<br />

Hoping Mother and all is well.<br />

Tell <strong>George</strong> to look where he is going with his wheel<br />

because he never make a soldier. You got to watch<br />

your step down here. I seen the Charles Hogan and<br />

Lille Hogan keep this notice that I am writing now.<br />
