What is F1 In Schools?
F1 in schools is a competition held world wide for teams
aged 9-19 and is focused on STEM education. (Science
Technology, Engineering and Maths). It was founded by
Andrew Denford , the Chief Executive of Denford LTD in
Brighouse. Their main objective is to help change the
perceptions of science, technology, engineering and maths
by creating a fun and exciting learning environment for
young people to develop an informed view about careers
in engineering, Formula 1, science, marketing and
technology.

Winners
Who are we?
• We are a small group of 4 boys from Hanson Academy,
Bradford, and we are all aspiring engineers and
designers. We have :
Reece – Team Manager, Sponsorship Manager, Graphic Designer
Sam – Car manufacture, Car Design, Engineering Portfolio
Joe – Social Media Manger, Enterprise Portfolio, Web Design
Connor – Web Design, Pit Display, Car Design.
We all have our respected roles and have committed to this for
our second year now.

Our History
With our team
Starting as 4 aspiring boys
( Cameron, Reece, Connor
and Sam ) We suddenly found
ourselves down to 3 as
Cameron simply didn't have the time to commit but we were able to
gain back 2 members ( Jess and Jack ) After the competition we
found jack and jess having to leave the team but we gained our
current Social Media manager Joe in the team. We decided on a
change of a logo so our logo could mean something and show
development in our team. When we competed last year we won the
future stars award, the award is presented to the team that the
judges believe they have the potential to succeed in the future. We
got this award because we showed our great potential with our fast
car and great
teamwork. What Are Our Aspirations?
Our aspirations are to win at the regional finals
and get to Silverstone to prove our design as the
fastest development car in the UK for the 18/19
season. We are putting hours of time into the car
to try get a time of 1.3 seconds or less. We believe
this can be done with help from you! The money
would help get the materials to be able to make
and test many different cars to be able to reach
our first goal. After that we want to go to the
world finals to compete against the best of the
best.

Why Sponsor us?
• If you were to sponsor us it would mean, as
briefly said in our aspiration page, that we
could buy the resources and materials to be
able to test and manufacture different cars
and reach our goal of 1.3 seconds. The
advantages of sponsoring us would be that
your company would be widely seen and
viewed by many through our social media
outlets. If we made it far into the competition
with your help it would mean your company
would be the sponsors of the team to
represent England against the world.
Return On Investment
In return we generate value through
social media coverage and branding
of our items with your logo. We will
share your company through our
social media and will wear t-shirts
with your logo to all events we go to.
The ROI we will generate for you will
be a great boost for your company.
