interchangeable outfits. She’s a friend for life at Let’s Get Crafting HQ,
and we’re sure she’ll be the same for a little’un that you know. Many
parts of this pattern are worked without joining in continuous rounds, so
be sure to place a stitch marker in the top of the first stitch to clearly
show the start of the round.

HAIR TALK
The hair is created by slip
stitching lengths of yarn together;
the sl st acts as the parting.
Here’s how to do it:
E Measure the length of the doll’s
parting from the front of the
hairline to the back of the head
E Wind Peach Bellini around a
book with a width no bigger than
15cm; you need four or five
strands for each sl st
E Sl st evenly around five
strands at a time
E Cut the yarn off the book in the
centre, opposite the stitched
parting, to create two lengths of
hair that can be tied into pigtails
E Pin the parting seam to the
doll’s head in the desired position,
then sew into place with Peach
Bellini yarn
E Arrange where you would like
the pigtails to go and secure with
a small amount of Peach Bellini.
Tie a Hibiscus Pink bow on
each pigtail
E Trim the pigtails to neaten
if necessary
