as a global hub for energy companies.<br />

Projections from the <strong>Oklahoma</strong> Department<br />

of Commerce predict a bright economic<br />

future for the state as <strong>Oklahoma</strong>’s population<br />

is projected to top five million by the time the<br />

state celebrates its 150th birthday in 2057.<br />

By the 2020 Census, <strong>Oklahoma</strong>’s population<br />

will top 4 million.<br />

By the mid 2050s, <strong>Oklahoma</strong>’s population<br />

will top 5 million.<br />

By 2075, <strong>Oklahoma</strong>’s population will top<br />

5.5 million.<br />

<strong>Oklahoma</strong>’s population is forecast to grow<br />

at an average annual rate of 0.73 percent<br />

over the next sixty-five years. With a quality<br />

of life second to none and a pro-business<br />

atmosphere, the sky is the limit for <strong>Oklahoma</strong>.<br />
