Also in 2012, <strong>Oklahoma</strong> was fourth in<br />

the nation in creating new jobs and was<br />

consistently ranked by national surveys as one<br />

of the top ten states for doing business of all<br />

kinds. Quality of life, low taxes, low cost of<br />

plentiful labor, and almost unlimited sources<br />

of power and other utilities were cited as<br />

some of the reasons for the state’s favorable<br />

business climate. A strong statewide chamber<br />

of commerce organization has brought businesses<br />

of all sizes together to work for one<br />

common goal—create more quality jobs.<br />
