<strong>Oklahoma</strong>’s most valuable crop is wheat and the state ranks<br />

fourth in the nation in wheat production. Greenhouse and<br />

nursery products are an important part of the agricultural<br />

economy with hay, cotton, soybeans, corn, pecans, grain<br />

sorghum, peanuts, peaches, oats, and watermelons as major<br />

crops. The state has 83,000 farms, collectively adding more<br />

than $6 billion to the state’s gross domestic product.<br />
