Pelco Structural, LLC, is located on thirtyseven
acres in Claremore, Oklahoma. Founded
in 2005 by Phil Albert and Phil Parduhn, it
borrowed its name from Parduhn’s company,
Pelco Products, Inc., in Edmond, Oklahoma.
“The Pelco Brand is known throughout the
country for its commitment to innovation,
quality and service and our mission in
Claremore was to take that same commitment
to the steel pole industry” said Albert, president
of Pelco Structural, LLC.
Employing approximately 200
employees and using a state-ofthe-art
custom manufacturing
footprint, the company offers
engineering design, manufacturing,
and logistics solutions from
its 293,000 square foot facility.
“Our business model is projectbased
and specific to our customer’s
needs” said Albert. “We
focus on the design sensitive,
delivery critical projects most
companies in our market try to
avoid.” The results speak for themselves.
In its first ten years of operation,
the company has shipped
over $175 million dollars of products in
forty-four states and portions of Canada.
The Tulsa Port of Catoosa, Oklahoma, and
the availability of galvanizing services
in Northeastern Oklahoma figured prominently
in the decision to locate in Claremore,
Oklahoma. “Our greatest resource is our
human resource” said Albert who pointed to
the availability of skilled labor in the Rogers
County area to grow the Pelco business model.
Since opening, the company has been certified
by the American Institute of Steel Construction,
the American Weld Society, and the Canadian
Weld Bureau. Pelco is proud to be “SHARP”
certified by the Oklahoma Department of
Labor and OSHA since 2011. “SHARP” stands
for Safety Health Achievement Recognition
Program administered by the State of Oklahoma
on behalf of the Federal Occupational Safety
and Health Administration. In 2014, Pelco
Structural, LLC, was one of only sixteen facilities
in the entire state to earn said distinction. Albert
credited his stakeholders and their commitment
to quality and safety in the workplace for
Pelco’s earning this very important distinction.
In 2012 the company was selected by the State
of Oklahoma as the first recipient of the State
of Oklahoma’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship
Award for growth in jobs and market. In
addition, the company has been selected as
the 2008 Veterans of Foreign Wars Employer
of the Year, Claremore Chamber of Commerce
2009 Business of the Year, and the 2014
Oklahoma State Regents Business Partnership
Excellence Award for its partnership with
Rogers State University.
