Redneck Bank has received national<br />
attention. Articles about the bank have<br />
appeared in The New York Times,<br />
U.S. Banker, SmartMoney and The<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong>n. Redneck Bank also appears<br />
in several college marketing textbooks.<br />
In 2008, we created Internet divisions of<br />
each community bank. AmericaNet Bank is<br />
the Internet division of All America Bank.<br />
Redneck Bank is the Internet division of<br />
Bank of the Wichitas. Evantage Bank is the<br />
Internet division of Southwest State Bank.<br />
Thomas Clayton Huckabay passed away<br />
on August 7, 2004, at the age of ninety-six.<br />
He worked in the bank in Snyder until two<br />
weeks prior to his death. He was a gentleman<br />
in every sense of the word. He possessed a<br />
gentle spirit, strength of character, a great<br />
sense of humor and was abundantly generous<br />
and loving. He inspired his family and those<br />
around him in countless ways.<br />
T. C.’s son, Gary Clayton Huckabay, was<br />
born on January 3, 1938, in Mountain Park,<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong>. After graduating from Snyder<br />
High School in 1956 he attended the<br />
University of <strong>Oklahoma</strong> and graduated with<br />
a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical<br />
Engineering in 1961. He moved back to<br />
Snyder to learn the banking business from<br />
his father. In 1969, Gary chartered First<br />
Mustang State Bank, a new bank in Mustang,<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong>, at the age of thirty-one. First<br />
Mustang State Bank changed its name to All<br />
America Bank in 1996 upon opening its first<br />
branch in <strong>Oklahoma</strong> City. Gary served as<br />
president of All America Bank until 2008 and<br />
Chairman of the Board of All America Bank,<br />
Southwest State Bank and Bank of the<br />
Wichitas until 2013.<br />
Gary has served the State of <strong>Oklahoma</strong><br />
with honor in many capacities including being<br />
a member of the <strong>Oklahoma</strong> State Banking<br />
Board for twelve years, <strong>Oklahoma</strong> City<br />
Traffic Commission for ten years, Community<br />
Bankers Association of <strong>Oklahoma</strong> (president<br />
and Chairman of the Board), <strong>Oklahoma</strong><br />
Bankers Association of <strong>Oklahoma</strong> (board<br />
member and President’s Award), <strong>Oklahoma</strong><br />
<strong>Her</strong>itage Association (board member), and<br />
Leadership <strong>Oklahoma</strong> (board member).<br />
Gary has two sons, Clayton Todd (Todd)<br />
and Wade Barrett Huckabay, and a daughter,<br />
Shawn Huckabay Braden. Todd and Wade<br />
attended the Graduate School of Banking<br />
in Madison, Wisconsin, from 1992 to 1994,<br />
where they were both in the top ten percent<br />
of their class. Shawn, Todd, and Wade<br />
have served on the Board of Directors of<br />
All America Bank, Bank of the Wichitas and<br />
Southwest State Bank since 1993.<br />
Todd was born on May 24, 1963. He<br />
graduated from Mustang High School in<br />
1981 and attended the University of<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong> where he earned a Bachelor of<br />
Arts degree in Economics in 1985. Todd<br />
worked for a year at First Mustang State<br />
Bank, and then moved to Snyder to attend<br />
the Huckabay School of Banking, where his<br />
grandpa, T. C. Huckabay, taught him how to<br />
be a good banker. Todd became president of<br />
Bank of the Wichitas in 2005.<br />
Todd has served the State of <strong>Oklahoma</strong><br />
and his community in various ways<br />
including the <strong>Oklahoma</strong> Department of<br />
Transportation (commissioner), <strong>Oklahoma</strong><br />
Bankers Association (board member), Kiowa<br />
County Zoning Commission (board member),<br />
Snyder Industrial Authority (president), Snyder<br />
Rotary Club (president), Snyder Chamber of<br />
Commerce (president), and United Methodist<br />
Youth Camps (board member).<br />
Wade was born on February 16, 1965. He<br />
graduated from Mustang High School in<br />
1983 and attended the University of<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong> where he earned a Bachelor of<br />
Arts degree in Finance in 1987. Upon<br />
graduation Wade also moved to Snyder to<br />
attend the Huckabay School of Banking.<br />
