Cosmetics companies focused on exports 

In line with growing digitalization, consumers change 

their habits and demands when they reach every kind 

of information about markets and products. A large 

group of conscious buyers and consumers emerged 

especially in cosmetic industry. Now, they make their 

decision after deeply analyzing variety of information 

about contents, ingredients, packages and prices of 

the products they intended to buy. Large number of 

both producers and products in the market, means 

fiercer competition among brands and companies. 

Turkish cosmetics producers who are not indifferent 

to this kind of developments has started an attack 

in e/port markets despite the developments. By 

prioritizing investment in trained manpower, it has 

accelerated the production of products by emphasizing 

on human health, by considering design, packaging 

and product variety as always has been. They keep 

adding new colors, qualities and prices in international 

markets in order to improve their competitive powers. 

Turkish cosmetics exporters continue to display their 

products in international fairs in the last quarter of 

2018 as well. The Russian market, which we expect 

to accelerate the trade on national currencies, is one 

of the most important markets for Turkish cosmetics 

exporters. As it is every year, it is possible 

to see Turkish exporters at InterCharm 

Moscow Cosmetics Fair (24-27 October 

2018). Another important event for 

Turkish cosmetics producers is KUAD 

2nd Cosmetic Congress which will be 

organized in Antalya on 28-30 October 

2018. As Beauty Turkey Magazine, with 

our September-October issue, 

we will take our position on the 

side of the Turkish cosmetics 

exporters the events 

mentioned above. With the 

November-December 2018 

issue of our publication we will 

be at Cosmoprof Asia Hong 

Kong (13-16 November) and 

CBH Expo (06-08) Casablanca, 

Morocco cosmetic exhibitions.

Dijitalleşmenin hız kazanmasıyla birlikte, 

her türlü bilgiye ulaşabilen tüketicilerin 

alışkanlıklarında ve taleplerinde bir takım 

değişiklikler gözlemlenmekte. Özelikle kozmetik 

sektöründe, bilinçli bir tüketici kitlesi oluşmuş 

durumda. Ürünün içeriğinden başlayarak, 

ambalajından fiyatına kadar birçok kriteri 

derinlemesine irdeledikten sonra satın alma 

kararlarını veriyorlar. Üretici ve ürün çeşitlerinin 

çokluğu, rekabeti de çok çetin duruma getirmekte. 

Bu tür gelişmelere kayıtsız kalmayan Türk 

kozmetik üreticisi, krize rağmen atağa kalkmış 

durumda. Öncelikli olarak yetişmiş insan gücüne 

yatırımı ön planda tutarak, insan sağlığını her 

daim önemseyerek, tasarım, ambalaj ve ürün 

çeşitliliğine dikkate alan ürünler üretmeyi 

hızlandırmış durumda. Uluslararası pazarlarda 

kalite ve fiyat olarak da rekabete renk katmaya 

devam ediyorlar. Türk kozmetik ihracatçıları 

2018 yılının son çeyreğinde uluslararası fuarlarda 

boy göstermeye devam ediyorlar. Milli paralarla 

ticaretin hızlanmasını beklediğimiz Rusya 

pazarı, Türk kozmetik ihracatçısı için en önemli 

pazarlardan biri. Her yıl olduğu gibi bu sene de 

InterCharm Moskova kozmetik fuarında da (24- 

27 Ekim 2018) Türk ihracatçılarını görmek 

mümkün. Türk kozmetik üreticileri için 

bir başka önemli etkinlik ise 28-30 Ekim 

2018 tarihlerinde Antalya’da organize 

edilecek olan KUAD 2. Kozmetik 

Kongresi.

etkinliklerde Türk kozmetik

Mr Altun’s 7 make-up tips… 

Max Factor make-up artist Fezi Altun explained how to get the best 

results when using lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, foundation, eye shadow, 

contour and highlighter. Here are seven makeup tips from Fezi Altun: 

7 “Altun” makyaj tüyosu 

Max Factor make-up artisti Fezi Altun ruj, maskara, eyeliner, fondöten, far, kontur ve 

highlighter kullanırken en iyi sonuçların nasıl elde edileceğini anlattı. İşte Fezi Altun’dan 

hayatınızı değiştirecek yedi makyaj tüyosu: 

1. If you apply a lip liner around the lip after applying lipstick, 

the lips are going to be more prominent. If you want your lips to 

have a fuller and lusher look than they are, you should always 

show the middle of the lips for sure. To do so, you can spread the 

lipstick in the middle of the lip and gently distribute the same 

colour lip gloss. 

2. When applying your mascara, you may apply it with zigzag 

motions instead of applying vertically on lashes. Thus, you may 

have a more volumized and bushy appearance. 

3. The most important issue to consider when applying eyeliner 

is to equalize the eyeliner’s tail. If you create two small dots to 

determine the end point of the tail and then draw a line through 

that point, you will have a straight, evenly tailed eyeliner. 

4. The most important step when applying the foundation is to 

find the right colour. If you apply foundation to your wrist or hand 

to find the right colour, you will never get an even skin tone. For

maskarayı sürebilirsiniz. Böylelikle daha hacimli ve 

gür bir görünüme sahip olursunuz. 

3- Eyeliner uygularken dikkat edilmesi gereken en 

önemli konu eyeliner’ın kuyruğunu eşitlemektir. 

Kuyruğun bitim noktasını belirlemek için iki küçük 

nokta oluşturup, daha sonra o nokta üzerinden bir 

çizgi çekerseniz düz ve eşit kuyruklu bir eyeliner’ınız 

olur.

the right colour, you must try the foundation on your chin 

or cheeks. To get the most accurate results, you should 

always apply with a sponge or foundation brush. The brush 

applied foundation will give a more transparent result and 

will give an appearance of no foundation is applied on your

5. The most important point to pay attention when applying 

eye shadow, instead of moving the brush to the left and

contour application, if you draw the number “3” and spread 

it with the help of brush, you perform the most correct 

and practical application. Continuous contouring along the 

hairline always creates a more contoured face. 

7. When you apply Highlighter, you should draw the 

number “2” and spread it on your cheekbones. It will shine 

perfectly in your makeup.

5- Far sürerken dikkat edilmesi gereken en önemli nokta, 

far fırçasını sağa sola hareket ettirerek uygulamak yerine 

kirpik diplerinden başlayıp 90 derece yukarıya doğru 

sürmektir. Böylelikle hem kirpik diplerinden boşluk 

kalmayacak hem de farın gerçek rengini ortaya çıkacaktır. 

Göz kapağının tamamına bu şekilde far sürerseniz, hem diğer 

yöntemdeki gibi göz çevresine farın tozları dökülmeyecek 

ve bulaşmayacak hem de sürdüğünüz far gün boyu kalıcı 

olacaktır. 

6- Kontur uygulaması yaparken en kolay sonucu almak 

için şakak, elmacık kemiği ve çene kemiği hattınıza “3” 

rakamı çizip fırça yardımı ile dağıtırsanız en doğru ve pratik 

uygulamayı gerçekleştirirsiniz. Saç çizgisi boyunca devam 

eden kontur uygulaması her zaman daha şekillendirilmiş bir 

yüz ortaya çıkarır. 

7- Highlighter uygularken ise kaş altınızdan elmacık kemiği 

üstüne “2” rakamı çizip dağıtmanız, makyajınızda kusursuz 

şekilde parlayacaktır.

customers with different designs. In these halls where men and women 

spent most time, customer satisfaction focused transformations started 

to come to the fore because of elegance and convenience…

designers for sure”, this year, has given information about the 

hairdressing salon designs.

BEAUTYISTANBUL 2019, the international exhibition for cosmetics, 

beauty, hair, private label, packaging and ingredients will welcome its 

professional guests on 2-3-4 October 2019, in Istanbul, Turkey. The 

show will bring together 400 exhibitors from 40 countries along with 

over 8.000 professional buyers and distributors from more than 120 

countries.

Kozmetik sektörünün trendlerini takip ederek kendini 

geliştiren BEAUTYISTANBUL ekibi temmuz ayının son 

tanıtım aktivitelerini ışıkların şehri Las Vegas’ta düzenlenen 

çok uluslu kozmetik fuarında gerçekleştirdi. Ekibimiz aynı 

zamanda sektördeki güncel gelişmeleri yerinde takip edip 

önde gelen sektör profesyonelleriyle görüşerek fuarımız 

hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi verdi. Merkez Amerika katılımının 

yüksek olduğu fuarda, potansiyel alıcılar BEAUTYISTANBUL 

2019’a bizzat davet edildi. 

BEAUTYISTANBUL ve Afrika ilişkileri pekişiyor! Afrika 

ile buluşmamız bu defa Nijerya’nın başkenti Lagos‘ta 

düzenlenen Türkiye-Nijerya İş Forumu vesilesiyle 

gerçekleşti. Birçok Türk iş insanının katıldığı, 28 Temmuz-2 

Ağustos tarihlerinde düzenlenen heyette tanıtılan fuarımız, 

Nijerya ve bölge kozmetik sektörü profesyonelleri tarafından 

büyük ilgi gördü. 2-3-4 Ekim 2019’da gerçekleşecek olan 

BEAUTYISTANBUL fuarına dünyanın her yerinde ilgi süratle 

artıyor! 

Tanıtım çalışmalarını bu kez 2-5 Ağustos tarihleri arasında 

Brezilya’nın en büyük şehri Sao Paulo’da düzenlenen, çok 

sayıda güzellik ekipmanları ve sağlık sektörü temsilcisinin 

katıldığı bir etkinlik ile sürdüren BEAUTYISTANBUL ekibi, 

Latin Amerika’da bulunan alıcı potansiyeli sebebiyle oldukça 

yoğunlaştığımız etkinlikten olumlu tepkiler ile döndü. 

BEAUTYISTANBUL ekibi Doğu Afrika’da ki etkinliğini 

arttırmak ve bölgeye fuarımızı daha yakından tanıtabilmek 

adına, Mozambik‘te gerçekleşen uluslararası ticari bir fuarda 

yerini aldı. Aktif temaslarımız dâhilinde bölgedeki sektör 

profesyonelleri ve alıcıları BEAUTYISTANBUL 2019’a davet 

edildi. 

Ağustos ayını Asya’nın en popüler güzellik merkezi Seul, 

Kore’de gerçekleşen bir etkinlikle kapattık. Son dönemlerde 

uluslararası arenada yaygınlaşan Kore menşeili bakım 

ürünlerinin de yer aldığı bir organizasyonda boy gösteren 

ekibimiz, etkinliğe katılan Asya’nın önde gelen ilaç sektörü 

distribütörleri ve kozmetik alıcılarıyla bir araya gelerek 

BEAUTYISTANBUL 2019’u tanıttı.

Beauty festival at CNR Expo has ended 

There was a profound interest in the makeup and hair shows, where 

purely organic and 100% local beauty and care products were used, at 

CNR Beauty & Wellness Show Istanbul. Visitors tested local and organic 

products on site. Shows were organized based on skin type analysis.

Yüzde yüz yerli, organik güzellik ve bakım ürünlerinin sergilendiği CNR Beauty&Wellness 

Show İstanbul’da düzenlenen makyaj ve saç şovlarına ilgi büyük oldu. Ziyaretçiler fuara 

gelerek yerli ve organik ürünleri yerinde test etti. Fuarda ziyaretçilere cilt tiplerinin 

analizine uygun olarak cilt bakımı, makyaj şovları düzenlendi. 

Beauty & Wellness Show Istanbul, the most prestigious 

beauty, health and care exhibition of Eurasia, was 

launched on September 20-23 at CNR EXPO. The show 

was organized by CNR Holding company Istanbul Trade 

Fairs for the first time this year with the aim to increase 

the current export volume of 1,5 billion dollars of the 

industry. 

For four days, the show hosted industry professionals and 

welcomed 9,864 visitors of which 9,318 were domestic 

and 546 foreign. Bringing together the latest trends, 

application methods and beauty products, CNR Beauty & 

Wellness Show Istanbul showcased makeup materials, 

massage tables, resting chairs, slimming devices, and 

eco-friendly primary care products that rejuvenate and 

refine. 

Avrasya’nın en prestijli güzellik, sağlık ve bakım fuarı CNR 

Beauty&Wellness Show İstanbul, 20-23 Eylül tarihleri 

arasında, CNR Holding kuruluşlarından İstanbul Fuarcılık 

tarafından, CNR EXPO Yeşilköy’de gerçekleşti. Bu yıl 

ilk kez düzenlenen fuar ile güzellik, bakım ve kozmetik 

sektörlerinin 1,5 milyar dolarlık ihracat oranı daha 

yukarılara çekilmesi hedeflendi. 

Dört gün boyunca sektör profesyonellerini ağırlayan fuarı, 

9 bin 318 yerli, 546 yabancı olmak üzere toplamda 9 bin 

864 kişi ziyaret etti.

ürünlerini bir araya getiren CNR Beauty&Wellness Show 

İstanbul, makyaj malzemelerinden masaj yataklarına, 

dinlenme koltuklarından incelme garantili cihazlara, 

ekolojik temel bakım ürünlerine kadar gençleştiren ve 

güzelleştiren pek çok ürüne ev sahipliği yaptı.

Dr Mustafa Kemal Ataönder stated that Kiss Lip Filler is applied

moulded formulated with highly hyaluronic acid cruciate

Doktor tarafından enjeksiyon tekniği ile 10 dakika 

içerisinde son derece çekici dudaklar yapıldığını 

söyleyen Dr. Mustafa Kemal Ataönder “İşlem 

yapıldığı anda hemen sonuç verir, değişiklik hemen 

fark edilir. Dudak dolgu uygulamasından sonra 

en az 2 saat süreyle herhangi bir şey yememek ve 

içmemek gerekir. Dudak dolgu işleminden sonra 

kısa süreli şişlikler ve iğne giriş yerlerinde morarma 

meydana gelebilir. 2-3 gün içinde bu etkiler geriler. 

Formülünde yer alan patentli “resilient” hyaluronik 

asit dolgu enjeksiyonunun etkinlik süresi kişinin yaşı, 

dudak yapısı, elastikiyeti, miktarı, yaşam kalitesi gibi 

faktörlere bağlı olmakla beraber kalıcılığı yaklaşık 

8-12 aydır. Uygulamayı tekrarlamak kalıcılığı ve 

sonucu olumlu etkiler” diye vurguladı. 

Dudak Dolgusu yaparken nelere dikkat edilmesi 

konusuna da değinen Dr. Mustafa Kemal Ataönder 

“Dudak dolgusunu gerçekleştirecek hekimin dudak 

estetiği planlanmasını yaparken dikkat etmesi 

gereken hususlar vardır. Bunlardan en önemlisi dolgu 

yapılan dudağın genel ağız yapısıyla ve yüz yapısıyla 

uyumlu olması gerekmektedir” dedi. 

Lip augmentation is being applied for shaping and contouring 

quite often. In addition lip augmentation is commonly preferred 

for asymmetries, lip margin sag, lip thin bar code lines 

improvements as well... “Lip structure thin ones.., those who lose 

their skin elasticity and lip volume as a result of the reduction of 

hyaluronic acid under the skin with age… and those who want to 

have attractive lips by strengthening the expression of beauty and 

youth can prefer lip filling for sure.” he said. 

Dr Mustafa Kemal Ataönder who has said that the injection 

technique is done in 10 minutes, continued his words as follows: 

“As soon as the process is done, the result is immediately 

noticed. After the lip augmentation application, you should not 

eat or drink for at least 2 hours. Short-term swelling after the 

lip filling and bruising at the needle insertion areas may occur. 

These effects regress within 2-3 days. The effectiveness of the 

patented resilient hyaluronic acid filler injection in its formula 

depends on factors such as age, lip structure, elasticity, amount 

and quality of life of the person. But its durability is 8-12 months 

approximately.” He also emphasized that repeating the practice 

effects the persistence and positive effects of the result. 

Dr. Mustafa Kemal Ataönder also touched on what to look for 

when making a lip fill, and continued his words as “There are 

points that should be taken into consideration when planning 

the lip aesthetics of the physician to perform lip filling. The most 

important of them is that the lip, which is going to be filled, must 

be compatible with the general structure and face structure”.

IKMIB Brought Turkish Chemistry Sector Together 

With Iranian Companies In Tehran 

Tehran Chemical Sectorial Trade Delegation was organized by Istanbul 

Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association (İKMİB) on 23 

to 26 September 2018. 

İstanbul Kimyevi Maddeler ve Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği 

(İKMİB) tarafından, 23-26 Eylül 2018 tarihleri arasında Tahran 

Kimya Sektörel Ticaret Heyeti düzenlendi. 

Turkish companies operating in the medical, pharmaceutical and 

plastic sectors from the sub-sectors of chemistry participated 

in the Tehran Chemical Sectorial Trade Delegation, which was 

held in Tehran on 23-26 September with the aim of developing 

trade relations with Iran and contributing to the export with 

new partnerships. Within the Delegation, the companies found 

the opportunity to get on-site and exact information about the 

documents required and permit process in export with Iran, the 

general structure, price level and sales channels of the Iranian 

market. 

On the first day of the organization where 8 companies 

participated in, pharmaceutical companies visited the 

pharmacies, obtained information about pricing and procedures 

and had the opportunity to see the variety of products in the 

market. Also, the companies participating from the plastics
