A SEAL OF QUALITY FOR AUTHENTIC ITALIAN RESTAURANTS<br />
<strong>Italian</strong> lifestyle is all about a rich history, breathtaking landscapes, extraordinary design and fine food. It is a<br />
blend of distinctive ingredients which shape the uniqueness of Italy and its culture.<br />
It is precisely with the aim to protect and promote this unique quality the Associations of <strong>Italian</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong>s of<br />
<strong>Commerce</strong> (Unioncamere) in collaboration with the <strong>Italian</strong> Research Institute for Tourism (ISNART) have<br />
launched the “Ospitalità <strong>Italian</strong>a - Ristoranti <strong>Italian</strong>i nel Mondo” project, a seal of quality to be conferred to<br />
<strong>Italian</strong> restaurants around the world which maintain and promote authentic <strong>Italian</strong> enogastronomic culture<br />
and which meet the high standards of <strong>Italian</strong> hospitality.<br />
The <strong>Indo</strong>-<strong>Italian</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> of <strong>Commerce</strong> and Industry (IICCI) collaborated with the organizers in the selection<br />
of such local restaurants in India serving authentic <strong>Italian</strong> cuisine. The certification process was conducted<br />
for several months by IICCI, starting from the creation of a desk and of a web based platform providing all<br />
the necessary information about the project, through the collection of all the applications from candidate<br />
restaurants, to on site verification and the final transmission of all data to the coordinating committee in<br />
Rome.<br />
