along the street. Jonker Street is well known<br />
among antique collectors. Now, it is slowly filled<br />
with modern cafe and restaurants housed in<br />
these historical buildings.<br />

but it could get worse during the<br />
weekend. There are people taking<br />

in Melaka. The steamed<br />
Hainanese chicken is served<br />
with the famous chicken rice<br />
ball. The chicken rice were<br />
shaped into balls so that it<br />
could be kept warm for a<br />
longer time and it is much<br />
easier to consume.

of this place hasn't changed<br />
much as they focus on<br />
keeping it simple and<br />

Next KK Sdn Bhd souvenir shop. which runs by the<br />
founder's family. The ambience here is really nice<br />
and people usually spend 30-45 mins here.

and one bowl of cendol is enough to fight the<br />
heat.
This place is going with the classic and vintage style. It is filled<br />
with old classic pictures hanging on the wall. The interior of<br />
this place adds a traditional taste to it.

Bodybuilder. This statue is located<br />
in Jonker Walk Garden which is a<br />
place for tourists to rest and<br />
freshen up. Datuk Wira Gan Boon<br />
Leong founder Jonker Walk in<br />
2000.
this spot is popular among<br />
tourists. Datuk Wira is often the<br />
background of any photo. Some<br />
even mimicked him!
Street Jonker<br />
Market Night
Jonker Street Night Market is the most anticipated event during<br />
the weekends. The night market is known for its food, souvenir<br />
and even jewellery stalls. The street is closed in the evening for<br />
the stalls to set up. This night market is opened on Friday,<br />
Saturday and Sunday. The night market has been around for 18<br />
years.
it gets crowded as the sun sets<br />
and more stalls were setting up<br />
to fill the street. this night<br />
market is 500m long filled with<br />
an array of food, souvenirs and<br />
entertainment.
fear not, dim sum is also available even at night! this dim sum<br />
stall is crowded with people because of its affordable price.
Heading in to the entrance of Jonker Street, one will be greeted by this flying coconut<br />
balls. They were throwing the coconut flesh into the air and this attracted many<br />
people to buy their drinks. Not only because of the whole throwing coconut action,<br />
the juice of the coconut is sweet and refreshing.
People could also get cute<br />
souvenirs made here at the<br />
night market. There are many<br />
varieties to choose from<br />
depends on your liking.
There are also entertainment awaits in this night market. Chairs were<br />
arranged in front of the well-maintained stage and people would sit to<br />
enjoy the show. The shows were different depends on the occasions.<br />
If it was Chinese New Year, then it would be Chinese New Year<br />
related. People would surround the stage to watch the show.

this cafe is housed in a<br />
pre-war building. it is a<br />
popular spot among<br />
tourists and is located<br />
along Jonker Street. after<br />
walking the night market,<br />
people would normally<br />
chill and spend some<br />
quality time here.
Square Dancing<br />
There's even older adults<br />
having this dancing class in<br />
the building along the street.<br />
Loud music were being played<br />
and can be heard when<br />
walking along Jonker Street.<br />
Square dancing is an exercise<br />
routine performed to music<br />
and it is popular among<br />
middle-aged women.
