STAFF PURCHASE AND DISCOUNT POLICY
Staff discount is available for employees and their immediate family NOT for friends.
Immediate family means Parents, Grandparents, Brothers/Sisters, Partners and Children.
Anything they purchase comes out of your allowance.
Staff discount is available to all employees from date of joining.
The total value of all discounted products purchased in any one calendar year is limited
to £2500 after discount. If you go over this amount, you may be asked to repay the
difference. Where required, the Company reserves the right to make deductions from
salary of any overtaken staff discount allowance. The annual allowance for staff
purchases with discount is applied from Jan 1 st to Dec 31 st
Goods purchased must be for personal use. For instance, goods purchased on behalf of
golf clubs for prizes is not permitted, nor is purchasing goods to benefit third party
businesses.
Colleagues are prohibited from purchasing goods directly from our suppliers.
All colleagues wishing to take advantage of the staff purchase scheme must first register
for an american golf ‘Clubcard’. The Clubcard allows a proper record of all the
transactions you make.
Your Clubcard must be used for all of your purchases, irrespective of whom the recipient
is, the value of the goods or whether you receive staff discount or not for the purchase.

Items bought with staff discount are not eligible for the 30-day satisfaction warranty
return. It is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase the correct product, first time.
In regards to faulty products, you are entitled to the same refund/exchange policy as
customers.
Any clubs traded in by colleagues will be valued at the cost price, dictated by the
Company`s cost pricing at the time of trade-in. Any clubs purchased at staff purchase
rates will not be entitled to be traded back in with the Company at an enhanced value at a
later date. Staff discount cannot be used when using trade-in to purchase new equipment.
Staff discount cannot be used in conjunction with ‘Price Match’. If you elect to use ‘Price
Match’, staff discount does not apply and must not be processed as part of the sale.
When using ‘Price Match’, a screenshot of the competitor pricing must be obtained by
the Store Manager and retained for future reference prior to the purchase being
processed.
Promotional offers may NOT be combined with staff discount purchases. e.g. a driver
offer with a free fairway wood cannot be processed with staff discount. You are not
allowed 3 for 2 promotions when using staff discount. You choose which ever offer is
best for you.

Vouchers of any type cannot be used against any transaction with staff discount. Staff are
not allowed to buy any demo product and are not allowed to purchase vouchers/gift cards
without prior permission of a Compliance Manager.
Any Prizes, Samples or Gifts obtained through the Company or through the Company’s
trading partners must not be exchanged or sold on, for the lifetime of the goods.
All sale transactions for colleagues MUST be processed by the Manager or Deputy on
his/her number, whether staff discount is applied or not. Managers must go to their
RM/Compliance Manager for authorisation for any sales.
All items must be paid for in full & a receipt issued, prior to removing the goods from
store.
The employee must be present at the time of the transaction. All refunds/exchanges for
staff members MUST be processed by the Manager and at the price originally paid and
the goods returned to store at the same time. Store Managers must have all refunds
authorised by the RM/Compliance Manager by e-mail.
Colleagues from the Retail Support Centre/Other branches should call ahead and e-mail
their chosen store with the products they wish to purchase and use their own staff ID to
make the purchase.
Products purchased with staff discount cannot be sold on in any way for a period of
twelve months. This includes but is not limited to, private sales, e-bay, Gumtree or any
other 3rd party platform

STAFF PURCHASE AND DISCOUNT POLICY
Colleagues may not sell products purchased from American Golf for personal financial
gain (regardless of whether staff discount was used to purchase the products or not).
Colleagues should be aware that american golf, will provide employee personal data
(specifically home postcode) to a selected third-party Company for the purpose of
monitoring online sales of golf equipment from addresses at that location. This is in order
to protect business interests; this information is not shared with any further external
party.
