Auditor characteristics are those qualities that make auditors<br />
effective. They become integrated into the auditor’s behavior so that<br />
they appear to be a natural pattern of c<strong>on</strong>duct. Characteristics such<br />
as interpers<strong>on</strong>al skills, problem solving, and the ability to work<br />
independently as well as <strong>on</strong> a team are learned through study and<br />
practice.<br />
