The "Wiener Schaber" ("scraper")<br />
is a special straight razor shape,<br />
which usually comes as a 4/8"<br />
blade, and sets itself apart with<br />
its especially elegant and flowing<br />
lines. In the men's salons of the<br />
first half of the 20th century,<br />
it was mainly used to touch up<br />
contours after the actual shave.<br />
However, the delicate Wiener<br />
Schaber is also ideal for everyday<br />
shaving. The short blade with<br />
French head is perfectly suitable<br />
for it. The edge transitions into<br />
the tang in a gentle arch, giving<br />
