100 years ago, we use a coat<br />
of genuine 24-karat gold. The<br />
gilding not only provides a special<br />
accent for this refined straight<br />
razor, but also offers additional<br />
corrosion protection for the<br />
non-stainless carbon steel (with<br />
especially high edge retention),<br />
which remains the first choice for<br />
high quality straight razors due to<br />
its extremely fine structure. In<br />
many painstaking steps, the blade<br />
is ground extra hollow with belly,<br />
to the highest level of quality<br />
until it makes the right sound.<br />
The stylish <strong>Boker</strong> tree inlay is<br />
delicately placed in the durable<br />
synthetic handle scale by hand.<br />
The Waldorf line is the only line in<br />
our selection which has an inlay and<br />
brass pins, giving it an especially<br />
refined and elegant appearance,<br />
along with the historic blade etch.<br />
Made completely by hand in the<br />
