Introduction
The Hippie Hippie Shack was created with three things in mind: each
one of my beautiful, growing children. I knew that they would be
exposed to potentially harsh chemicals at school, in stores, and in
other people’s homes. But there was one place I could control their
exposure: in their personal care products.
We are passionate about what we put on our skin and that’s why we
have made it our mission to curate an amazing selection of
natural skin care products that we adore and work. We hand craft all
of our products the old fashioned way using natural oils, butters,
botanicals, colours and fragrances that result in luxurious, soothing
and cleansing products.
We stock a selection of moisturisers, cleansers, face masks, face
scrubs, facial serum, facial cream, deodorants, lip balms and thats just
to name a few.
We also sell a range of household products including
cleaners, aromatherapy sprays, air fresheners and hand sanitisers.
As well as finding beautiful natural skin care products, you can
always feel confident that everything you buy from The Hippie
Hippie Shack is free from nasty chemicals. Our products are specially
formulated for all skin types as they're super sensitive on the skin.
Knowing what you're putting on your body is important. Staying
away from nasty ingredients can help prevent illnesses and allergies
for the years to come.You encounter enough chemicals in the world;
you don’t need to be applying them directly to your skin.
We make our products in small batches so they will stay fresh and
eliminate the need to preserve them with harsh chemical
preservatives.

Why Go Natural?
Earth-Friendly
Products made from conventionally produced ingredients can have a negative
environmental impact. The manufacturing of chemical-heavy health and beauty
products puts those chemicals, and many more, into the air and water, and even
more go down your drain in your own home. When ingredients for natural health
and beauty products are farmed and manufactured organically, fewer chemicals
are put into the air and water.
Avoid Irritation
Chemicals, artificial colors, and fillers in skin care products and makeup can cause
redness, irritation, and breakouts. Many people are even allergic to chemicals
commonly found in conventionally produced products. Natural makeup, skin care

Artificial fragrances are designed to cover up the smell of other chemicals used in
traditional health and beauty products. The effect is that you have a chemical to

Parabens are used in conventionally produced health and beauty products as a
preservative to extend the shelf life of products. Parabens, however, are synthetic
and mimic your body’s natural hormones. Many people worry that this can alter the
functions of your body’s endocrine system. Artificial ingredients like parabens may
help a product do one thing well, but there could be possible side effects that are

cleansing. It will kill the bacteria that creates
pimples. The oil will moisturise the skin and
won’t make it feel like sandpaper as many

of eczema, psoriasis, and other skin conditions.
We know baking soda to be a rising agent in
foods, but it is also an excellent face exfoliator.
