Turning old into new
On average, the lifetime of a ropeway installation
is between 30 and 45 years.
That’s a long time span in which some individual
parts wear faster than others and
passenger needs can change. But it’s not
always necessary to replace the complete
installation. Modernizing the cabins can
work wonders.
A stunning visual upgrade can be
achieved with a new paint finish or by
replacing protection films, windows,
seats and paneling. In addition, the
load-bearing structure is also inspected
and any corrosion damage removed.
Depending on the scope of the work
involved, cabin modernization is carried
out on site or at our plant.
