Detachable Grip Inspection
Time and personnel resources are
always in short supply. That’s why this
Doppelmayr service is a welcome form of
assistance for our customers. Depending
on grip type and inspection scope, the
grip inspection can either be performed
on site, or at a Doppelmayr or Garaventa
plant.
The grip is completely stripped down
to its constituent parts and inspected in
accordance with the applicable inspection
specifications. After reassembly, the
grip force is checked and documented by
means of a pull test. During this work, the
carriers are parked using suspension carriers.
These can be provided on request.
