Popular Halloween
Spectacular returns
Chiltern Open Air Museum’s popular
‘Halloween Spectacular’ returns on
Friday 26th October 5pm – 9pm,
as part of Culture 24’s Museums at
Night. This locally famous night-time
opening sees the Museum’s historic
buildings decorated for Halloween
and inhabited by costumed characters.
This is the Museum’s largest event of
the year and the biggest fundraiser
for the charity. Families, children and
adults come in brilliantly creative
fancy dress costumes and, armed
with torches and wellies, will brave
whatever horrors the Museum has in
store for them! Spine-tingling scary
stories can be heard around the fire
in the Iron Age roundhouse and you
can trick-or-treat the witch’s cottage
and other spooky buildings. Visitors
can warm themselves by toasting
marshmallows over the fire. There are
lots of Halloween-themed crafts and
activities. The event is suitable for all

Encourage Imagination & creativity
at Woodys Playbarn
Exploration, imagination, and
creativity are in abundance at
Woody’s Play Barn in Hertfordshire,
our large soft play area is filled with
exciting activities and obstacles to
overcome and filled with activities and
equipment from slides to a football
pitch. We even have a play area
for toddlers as well as a dedicated
area for babies this features puzzles,
rockers, games, interactive panels,
and building blocks. .Skyrider is a
brand new way to experience flying.
Ride through the trees twisting
above our mini Golf and over the
pond. Minimum height for the ride is
1.0m Crazy golf is a 14 Hole course
underneath the trees.
It’s sure to satisfy your child’s sense
for adventure, while you chill out
with homemade food in our comfy
seating area.

Cinnamon Square
Cinnamon Square, a multi-award
winning bakery café based in
Rickmansworth, specialises in
teaching adults and children to bake.
So that they can enjoy the experience
together, Cinnamon Square now run
classes for both adults and children
to attend together. There are a variety
of classes available including cake
making, bread & sweet buns and
chocolate. The next class, during the
October ½ term, is based on bread &
sweet buns.

The XC
XC is an extreme sports facility based
in Hemel Hempstead. Here you will
find 160 metres of indoor caving
system which will test your nerves as
you twist and turn through its intricate
passageways. If you have a head for
heights then try out a High Ropes
session which hangs twelve metres
above the ground. Tackle the eight
obstacles and take a peek below
where you will see our climbing walls
and bouldering area! To top it off, XC
has an awesome indoor skatepark
