Northern Linen, established in 1993, is a trading company
based in the Netherlands, specialized in linen and linen blends
(f.e. cotton, ramie and viscose). Over the past 20 years, they
have produced, imported and stocked fabrics mainly in and
from China and Russia. In order to deliver high level quality,
Northern Linen exports their own flax from Europe to China
for the production of their fabrics. N.L. operates in global
market through a network of agents and wholesalers with the
following brands: Northern Linen, PFD fabrics: Linoper Sempre,
collection fabrics: Northern fabrics, polyester, viscose and
cotton PFD fabrics. The company fabrics are mainly used for
Fashion (70%), Home Textiles (25%). They count among their
customers two essential fashion actors: Inditex and Max Mara
Group.
Northern Linen, société créée en 1993, est une entreprise
commerciale basée aux Pays-Bas, et spécialisée dans le lin et les
mélanges de lin (comme par exemple le coton, la ramie et la
viscose). Au cours des vingt dernières années, Northern Linen
a produit, importé et stocké des tissus principalement en et de
Chine et Russie. Afin de fournir une qualité élevée, Northern
Linen exporte son propre lin d’Europe vers la Chine pour la
fabrication de ses tissus. N.L. opère sur le marché mondial par
le biais d’un réseau d’agents et de grossistes avec les marques
suivantes : Northern Linen, tissus préparés pour la teinture ;
Linoper Sempre, tissus de collection : Northern fabrics, polyester,
viscose et tissus en coton préparés pour la teinture. Les tissus de
l’entreprise sont principalement utilisés pour la mode (70 %)
et les textiles d’intérieur (25 %). Inditex et le groupe Max Mara,
deux acteurs essentiels de la mode, font partie de la clientèle
de Northern Linen.
