THE BAR IS hidden behind a door in a quiet residential<br />
area. Next to the doorbell is a gold plate<br />
with a pharmacy snake. The door opens, you<br />
announce yourself as a patient and walk up the<br />
stairs with the hostess or bartender. When the<br />
curtains open, you are standing in the middle of<br />
a bar that looks like it came out of the beginning<br />
of the last century.<br />
THE BAR, THE antique back bar, the medical trinkets<br />
and the bartenders in white doctor’s coats:<br />
this is not your average bar, or doctor’s practice.<br />
The menu has its house rules based on the<br />
anatomy, and the cocktails are meticulously measured<br />
and mixed medicines to cure all aliments.<br />
