Please introduce yourself and tell the readers where you are from.
My name is Sarah and I’m from a small town in the South West of France. I’m
35 but I’m really a child at heart =) I like to think that I’m a work in progress,
always seeking improvement and peace. My favorite things in the world are my
family, animals, nature, food, reading, painting, music, dreaming and pranking
my loved ones lol
When did you decide that you wanted become a makeup artist?
I’m not sure, I remember sitting on my mom’s bed back when I was a little girl
and watching her do her makeup routine. I was fascinated with the colors,
smells, textures and the subtle transformation… But it wasn’t until 2015 that I
decided I’d had enough of working for other people and I wanted to pursue my
own dreams.
Where and when did you realize that you had such an amazing skill?
Oh, I do not think I have amazing skills honestly… I’m extremely self-conscious
for starter and I « hate » almost every makeup I create. Sometimes I like
them but after a while I only see all the little things I could have done better
lol. I know I’m too hard on myself but I’m just obsessed with getting better and
creating the things that I visualise in my mind. On a positive note, I do appreciate
my incredible progress over the last couple years. I started doing very
simple makeups that I had a hard time finishing.. and if anyone had told me
I’d do the kind of illusion makeups I do now I would have laughed in their face
(and then cried lol)
