Lausanne – Switzerland. http://www.artofliving.org/ Marie-Claude Hofner is a medical doctor specialised in public health. Since 1998 she is directing an interdisciplinary prevention program of interpersonal violence, which lead to the creation of the Violence Medical Unit (VMU) of the University Hospital Centre of Lausanne. The VMU is an original example of medico-legal and community oriented service for adults victims of violence. She is also currently deputy to represent Switzerland within the European network “Violence and Injury Prevention” of the Whorl Health Organisation.
