Author Visit, Avril McDonald,
for Year 1-3
Years 1, 2 and 3 welcomed the author of the Feel Brave series of
books, Avril McDonald. Avril spoke to the boys about the time
her daughter had a nightmare and how, through storytelling,
they overcame the bad dream together. This led to Avril coming
up with the characters for her books. She read some of her
stories to the boys, who thoroughly enjoyed hearing about
Wolfgang and his friends. The books help children
deal with issues such as self-confidence and fears.
